Biggest Loser "No Excuses" 2012 Team Challenge for Losers and Maintainers!!!

Time is flying!!! Hoorah, Hoorah, the First of May!!! It is time to get your tape measures out and send those WIN! Measurements to me.

Janis

Buffy, did you see the crewneck version of our St John's Bay tees are $5 each at JC Penney the whole month of May? :cool2:

ACK, I thought I responded!

No I had no idea they were on sale this month. I was planning on getting some on payday but BONUS!! I love a bargain!! Thanks for the heads up!

Good evening everyone.

Have been marking things off my to-do list, slowly but surely. I have 3 classes on friday, 3 finals next week and I'll have officially completely my first year of college. Luckily most of my finals seem like they will be pretty easy. Getting some of my textbooks ready to ship back.

I am considering not weighing in again until the 18th, I think this is when that challenge ends. This week has been decent but not what I wanted. I feel like I'm getting so close to my goal that it will drive me crazy to step on the scale this week. By the 18th I think I could possibly be at or under and I won't have gone insane about it. Still debating, but it would be nice to get on the scale and see that I am down 3lbs or something!

Have a dentist appointment to get my teeth cleaned tomorrow. I love it. Everytime I get back I vow not to drink as much tea (the kind in the jug) because it stains them. But that never lasts. ;)

Have a wonderful night!

Oh and congrats to all the losers this week!

Evening all! Woohoo....Got nearly everything on today's list crossed off! I never got the photos ordered because the Walgreen's website was having difficulties. I spoke with online support and they were aware of the problem, gave me a few suggestions that didn't work, and finally suggested that I try back in an hour or so. I spent the next 2 hours scanning through about 5 years of digital photos and copying swim pix into a specific folder so that when the site is up I can quickly upload and place my order.

Thankfully DH was kind enough to delay his return home a bit so that he was in town to pick up DD after swim, saving me an hour's round trip.

I mentioned some frozen burritos that I had bought at Costco last week for DS. I tried one tonight and it was very tasty! Only 260 calories, 1 gr fat, 7 gr fiber, organic, and I believe vegetarian (but not vegan or gluten free). When I have a chance I will check the brand name. Frankly I'm upstairs in my room and too lazy right now to go to the basement freezer.:rolleyes1

Well.... DH and DD should be home soon and hopefully we will watch Survivor together. TTYL..........P

Ok just remember to breathe...one more day of class....just breathe it will all be over soon!

obviously i need a pep talk or something before i loose my mind. I just felt super stressed and overwhelmed today and that feeling is not going away. I have one more week left. That's it. I CAN DO THIS!

unfortunatly my stress led to some not great eating decisions today, and necessity made me misss my workout today. i know they say you should never make excuses and you should always make time to work out but what happens when you literally do not have time? School all day, right to work, work till 9, spanish test in the morning...i had to choose workout or studying and studying won. i know things will be much better once the semester ends, but the semester won't be over forever!

i'm feeling a little less sore today, i was able to do half a lunge! A coworker knows how sore i've been and when i came in today she said "can you lunge yet?" I'm getting there! time wise i couldn't have done my workout, but physically, although it would have felt AWFUL i think i could have done it. just knowing that makes me feel good, because it means i wont be making the excuse that i'm in too much pain for skipping workouts.

so if everyone wants to send nice thoughts my way that would be great. just nice thoughts that i get everything done and don't fail anything. oh and eventually have time to clean the fish tank, wash the dog, pack the suitcase, and clean my room...

i should probably see my boyfriend at some point too! :rotfl:

Remember how I said that one of my goals for this challenge was to fit in a Cinderella dress my mom made for me 4 years ago but couldn't fit in and that I wanted to wear to an upcoming convention in my hometown? Well...

GOAL ACHIEVED!!! party:

I still want to lose a few more lbs to look better in it but with 4 months to go, I know I can make it!! :hyper:

I'm so excited!! My best friend is coming with me and I'm planning on buying some 'glass slippers', white gloves, and possibly a blond wig to pull it all together. Plus some of my favorite voice actors will be there for autographs, requests and the like so I may try to see if I can get a Cinderella-themed photo op with one of them. ;) Nothing like reaching a goal to keep you motivated!

:banana: Time for a happy dance!! :banana:

QOTD LAST CHANCE WORKOUT, PEOPLE! Pretend your favorite trainer from The Biggest Loser is watching and motivating you today. We are quickly approaching our Friday weigh in. What can you do to up the ante for the weigh in? Can you get in a little bit more workout time? Can you up the intensity if you are low on time? Can you make better food choices? Try it until the weigh in and see if it makes a difference for you. Remember... the only difference between TRY and TRIUMPH is just a little UMPH!!

Happy rainy Wednesday morning friends! Like I just mentioned above about a to-do list, I have a LOOOOOONG one for today! So much and I'm not even sure where to start! :eek: I've already done the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen as my eggs cooked, so I guess I can cross that off. And I read emails before I popped over here, so that is done too! Next up I'll start a load of laundry and make a few phone calls. By then breakfast should be digested and I will make beds and hit the TM. After that I'm torn. I really should order some photos for a few impending projects, as Walgreens.com is having a sale AND I got a "101 free prints" offer from Shutterfly that expires in the next few days. I shouldn't pass that up. But I'd also like to clean DD's room and bathroom.... and of course my bathroom needs a swish and swipe.

Kids both have after school and evening activities, so I get a bit more time at home today before I have to pick them up, but then my evening is booked. And DH headed off to Maine today for the day and I forgot to ask if he was expecting to be home for dinner. I think I will assume not, save the marinated steak I pulled from the freezer for tomorrow or Friday, when it might be a nice night for grilling and rely on sandwiches to go for tonight.

Oh well.... here I go rambling again!

I wasn't surprised at the results of last night's BL finale (won't give any names here). Wasn't the winner I really wanted, but wasn't surprised. Nice to see all of the returning contestants, but other than the person who won the at-home prize and the at-home person who was second, I didn't see any really astonishing weight losses, although they all looked really good.

Didn't like the new "rushed" format of the finale though. I like it when they take the time to show a bit of the person's BL history before the weigh-in. Last night felt SO rushed!

BTW, they mentioned THREE players who walked away. Who am I forgetting? I remember Buddy and Mark who walked away right before the end..... but who else left?

Last night's Glee was a disappointment as well. The story line was dark and depressing and I felt like the song selections were boring (although I do like that song from Chicago.... but was that appropriate for a group of supposed high school students???). Kurt's performance was fun to watch!

Off to start my list!...........................P

Congrats on getting some chores done! That always feels good! I agree with you totally about BL and who won- not surprising- but also was rooting for the ones that got 2nd and the at home winner. It was super obvious the women were wearing some major Spanx-type garment under their workout wear, and that is a little off putting. I know they want to look their best, and maybe some of them need to get some excess skin removed after losing so much weight so quickly. However, it makes them look so sucked in, especially when the camera showed their full body profiles (in dresses especially from the side). Straight on shots weren't so obvious. Can you imagine actually working out in that binding stuff? I wonder what they look like without that. This coming from a woman how has worn garments like that. I will double check how it looks before I wear something like that again. Stuffed sausage isn't a cute look for me! I think the 2nd place person and the at-home winner had the most dramatic changes but everyone looked pretty good. I wonder why they put some of the men in such tight pants. I think it made them look bigger than they would have looked in something a little more relaxed. But, I'm not a show producer. Maybe I should be! :rotfl2:

Thanks, Melinda! :flower3: This half will be the anniversary of finishing my first half so I'm only looking to finish and break below the 4 hour mark this time around -- 3 minutes faster than I finished the Tink. I had my 12 mile run cut short to 10 miles on Saturday due to runner's tummy. (It was really a tummy bug so that was good news). I have a 4 mile run this week-end, a 14 mile run the following week-end and then it is my absoutely favorite part of racing -- taper! :lmao: I'm excited and feeling good about things. :goodvibes

Big hugs on the teen thing. :hug: I tell DS when I wanted you to have your own opinions and stick up for them, I didn't really mean for you to do that to me! :lmao:
1 year anniversary! Woo hoo! That is awesome! What a memorable event! Glad the dreaded runner's tummy turned out to be something that you know will go away! I had that happen to me a couple times in the two weeks prior to my last race. I think I had a little bug, too. I read about people taking 2 Immodium before their long runs. Have you heard of this? I wonder what the risks/side effects are taking Immodium as a preventative measure? I'll have to ask my husband, but I'm pretty sure he will say his typical doctor answer: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Got about half of my list accomplished before lunch. I ended up spending more time in DD's room than planned. I didn't really "clean" it, but did some picking up when I went in to make the bed and at least it doesn't hurt my head to look in there now! Same with her bathroom.

Sadly, I didn't see the "Today Only" banner on the free prints offer from Shutterfly (that came yesterday) so I missed that..... but wouldn't really have had time to pick out photos anyhow. But I want to place an order with Walgreens to at least get started.

Off to eat lunch and order those photos!...........................P

Bummer on the pics but :thumbsup2 on getting more cleaning done than you planned. I sometimes have to pick up a little in my kids rooms (although I vowed never again- their mess, their chore, but they're older kids). Sometimes I can't stand it and have to get in there and do something. Make sure nothing is growing under the bed :rotfl: .

Jill DS did ok. He did the 2 mile in 12:07, came in 7th. Not to shabby! This was a hard team to race, they are our toughest competitors. I think we won, I need to check the paper online to look.....YES! 107-43 win! WHEW!!
We did have one boy DQed for wearing jewelry and he went ballistic on the coach so I'm pretty sure his future as a track star is over.
Exciting meet though!

Yes, he is doing the Run for Your Lives race in Boston. I'll let you know the details as soon as he gets home Saturday.

pjlla Drat!! I wish he were closer. But if we ever are, I will let you know!

Woo hoo! That is an AMAZING TIME! That is my 1 mile super fast (for me) time that he does 2 miles in! Awesome!

The Run for Your Lives is coming near us in July I think. Let me know what he thinks about it.

Ok just remember to breathe...one more day of class....just breathe it will all be over soon!

Here are some well wishes that everything falls into place! Just breathe and realize you have worked hard and it will all work out! No stress! Good luck to you!! :)

Well, I went to the orthopedist today and got a cortisone injection in my knee for the IT band issue. The pain was immediately gone because the inflammation was gone, but it still feels tight. I need to buy a foam roller. I have The Stick, which is kind of like a rolling pin, but I need to use the foam roller that you put on the floor , lay down on it, and just roll yourself across it for more pressure (will certainly be a cardio workout for me, lol, and I will make sure the peanut gallery (my kids) are gone when I first attempt this maneuver :rotfl2: .

I hope everyone is having a fabulous day and staying active and on your plan!

Melinda :)

Good Thursday morning

I wrote a post yesterday but my computer shut down and I lost it.

Good luck to those people who are finishing up their college year. Ds2 has one more exam today and will be home tomorrow so that we can pack up his bedroom. we will be moving him into his new apartment on Saturday. Then he graduates next Friday. It is so hard to believe that he is graduating already. It seems like yesterday that we took him to see his college for the first time.

I didn't do too much last night. A friend called and we spent an hour on the phone talking. I very rarely do that so it was fun.

I am very excited because the other day I got a discount on my room for my Aug trip. We are staying at ASMu for the first three nights and they finally released a discount for the time we will be there. It is only 20% but I saved $150 for the three nights. :banana::banana: I was so happy to get the discount. I have never stayed at DW without a discount and I was starting to think I would never get one for this trip.

Have to go get dressed.

Have a happy and healthy day.

Belledreamer-:cool1: Great job! Keep up the good work!

Good morning! And yes, it is a good morning despite the rainy weather here yet again! I'm having a great week workout and eating wise! And man, gotta love water!

Can't wait for weigh in tomorrow! I am so focused this week! My denim capris are getting looser everyday!

I did the 3 mile WATP with weights this morning as the batteries are just about dead in the elliptical and I only have 1/2 the batteries I need!

Izzie survived having 2 teeth pulled. They used the gas and novacaine. She was crying before it started as she thought he was only pulling one. It was best to do 2 and get it over with! Luckily the tooth fairy remembered to come last night! So Izzie has spending money for the cruise!

Working this morning and tonight so I don't think I'll get in a second workout today. I will be drinking water like crazy and counting my calories! I thought about getting a sub from subway for lunch since I have to work tonight and it works better for me that way. I'll see what my co-worker wants to do!

It's tea time and time to make Izzie's lunch!

TTFN :tigger:

Tracey looks like the tooth fairy was busy in New England last night! She came to our house too! DD lost her second top front tooth. Thing was hanging there forever!! Tell Izzy DD cried too and she pulled the tooth out herself. She's also had the dentist pull teeth too, never fun!

*****************************

Busy day here today. I have to be back at school at 10 for our weekly library trip. Then DD6 and DS10 are going to a friends house. I need to get DS11 to track, pick up DS15 from track and clean my house before the friends drop the kids back off. A trashed kitchen is not the way to make a first impression!!

DH still hasn't taken the treadmill off the blocks so I have been slacking in my workouts. Maybe I'll do a video in the boys room after library.

I need to log MFP, I haven't done it in 2 days. ERGH!! But my food has been crap for 2 days too. I need to get back on track today!!

Keep you chin up! Life is super busy for you right now, but it won't always be so. Take a deep breath, plan some healthy meals, and tell the dog to go wash himself! (That's one good thing about cats!) You are doing great and you will continue to be successful! :hug:

WOOOHOOO! That is fabulous! Can't WAIT to see pictures!! You must be so excited and so proud of yourself for achieving that goal!

Try it until the weigh in and see if it makes a difference for you. Remember... the only difference between TRY and TRIUMPH is just a little UMPH!!

Well.... this week has been a little lax for me, both in eating and exercise. Nothing dreadful, but I'm definitely not totally on my game. Just keeping my fingers crossed for a maintain or tiny gain (under .5). Have some ideas in mind for a fresh start on Saturday though!

But for today..... I will DEFINITELY kick it with my Last Chance workout! Got myself a movie at the library to watch while on the TM and I definitely see lots of hill inclines in my future!

Congrats on getting some chores done! That always feels good! I agree with you totally about BL and who won- not surprising- but also was rooting for the ones that got 2nd and the at home winner. It was super obvious the women were wearing some major Spanx-type garment under their workout wear, and that is a little off putting. I agree about the compression garments. And I think many of the men were wearing them too! But as someone who has lost weight AND is a bit older and so of course the skin doesn't snap back, I understand! :laughing: I bought myself a Spanx type thing to wear under the wrap dress I bought for Easter. But the difference is it doesn't include a bra or even cover my bra area, so it doesn't compress my chest. I think that doing so REALLY increases that "stuff sausage" look. I'd rather look shapely than FLAT (butt or chest). I did see a few garments that had a built-in butt shaper... not so much padding as just a design to kind of shape and lift..... like a bra for your butt! :rotfl:

Anyhow, the dress fit just FINE without it, but since the dress was really clingy, I wanted to avoid any jiggling, etc. And it definitely made a difference... the dress fit so much more smoothly! :thumbsup2

1 year anniversary! Woo hoo! That is awesome! What a memorable event! Glad the dreaded runner's tummy turned out to be something that you know will go away! I'll have to ask my husband, but I'm pretty sure he will say his typical doctor answer: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I'd be afraid that it would cause constipation in the days following the race. That stuff is meant to be binding.

I keep telling my kids that I'm NOT going to clean for them any more! But alas, I keep doing it. I figure I've already created the "monsters", now I need to deal with it! Not sure where I went wrong. I am practically ANAL about keeping things neat and organized..... and I sang the Barney (the dinosaur) clean-up song practically DAILY when my kids were young!

Thankfully NOTHING can get under my kids beds. DS has a captain's style platform bed with drawers under and DD has a trundle under her bed. At least it eliminates that problem. I had a full-size bed in my room growing up and it was a GREAT place for hiding/storing "stuff"!

AMAZING! Congrats to you!! :cool1:

I first used a foam roller when I was taking a circuit training class at the Y and I was impressed by how it helped. Good luck with it and good luck with getting that knee better.

Morning friends! Yet another RAINY day here. I hate to complain because I know we needed the rain badly, but I haven't had a clear day to hang laundry out, clean out the garage, or even do any yard work!

Hopefully the Walgreens site is up and running and I can go ahead and order some of those photos today.

My parents are coming up on Saturday to see DD in her prom attire. They are just staying the night, but that means I will need to clean DD's room (more than just the bit of picking up I did yesterday) and her bathroom, so that is on the agenda for today. Most of the rest of the house is looking okay, so I will probably just run the vac and dust rag around on Friday evening.

I am hoping that I am able to relax and get on the TM for at least 45 minutes without perseverating on how much I want/need to get done (projects, housework, etc).

I've been brainstorming some ideas to get DD's scrapbooks caught up by this time next year, in time for her high school graduation. I'm ready to order about 5 years worth of swim photos, but I need to find a way to scrap all of her ribbons and medals (literally hundreds of them). I've seen a few things I could buy (but they aren't cheap) and come up with a few ideas of my own (that I need to experiment with)...... any suggestions??

Okay..... off to get stuff done!.........................P

I know I haven't been on here in so long, I can't even remember where I left off! So I'll just start here ;)

:cool1::banana::woohoo: CONGRATS!! That's awesome!!

Chugging down that water, trying to keep moving and making smart choices. Hopefully I'll kick my butt exercising today.

===============================

Melinda :)

:rotfl2: Glad your pain is gone, good luck with your foam roller!

Congrats to your DS!

:cool1: for discounts!!

Poor Izzie, at least it is over!

trinaweena-:hug: Just one more week! Don't worry about the exercise, school is important, tests only come once, everyday is a new day to workout. :thumbsup2

----
Good morning, friends.

Had a dentist appointment to get my teeth cleaned. They asked if I smoked again. :smokin: Of course, I don't, just tons of tea. Anyway, they took my blood pressure and it was 103/60! Wow. Wasn't sure what was causing it, so I went to the doctor (google) to see. Apparently some people (athletes, nonsmokers, etc according to this site) can have 90/50 and not have low blood pressure so as long as I'm not passing out or fainting, I am okay! Better than high blood pressure!

Looks like today is full of cleaning, upgrading everything on the computer, and studying for a test tomorrow. Finished backing up everything on my computer to a harddrive yesterday, thanks for the reminder!

Have a healthy day, folks! :banana:

Evening all,

Home from work. Been a long day. The weather was so icky this morning I just wanted to go to sleep. I finally got some energy!

Trying to catch up on some shows! I need to get up and get in a good workout in the morning. I won't have time for another workout tomorrow. Chaperoning the 6th grade kids night out tomorrow night. It was fun last time. I have to pick up a few things tomorrow for it.

Just finished my crunches. Hoping to be even lower tomorrow. I've been pretty good today. I ordered a roast beef roll up for lunch and it wasn't that great. I had a little bit of pulled pork for supper. Brian and I are having some cheese and crackers right now and I'm having some water. Though I could really use a drink!

Hope everyone has a great weigh in tomorrow!

Welcome to Healthy Habits!

My name is CC (like see-see), which is short for Christina. No one has time to say 3 syllables so, it’s been shortened to my initials. ;)

Every week you will have 4 “Habits” to do each day. There will also be 2 Mini-Challenges. These will be something like “Exercise for 45 minutes simultaneously once during the week.” The “Habits” will be things that are essential for good “Health.” One might be “Drink 6 8 oz. glasses of water per day.” I will be very clear about which 4 are for all 7 days and which 2 are the Mini-Challenges.

The Healthy Habits “week” is the same as for weigh-ins. A new “week” begins on Friday and ends on Thursday. At the end of each week, total your points and PM (private message) me them. Please list your total points in the subject of your PM. In the body of your PM, please separate each “Habit” and mini-challenge. Here is an example.
Habit #1: 5/7 days
Habit #2: 4/7 days
Habit #3: 7/7 days
Habit #4: 1/7 days
Mini-Challenge #1: Completed
Mini-Challenge #2: Not Completed

This will allow me to recognize participants who earned 7/7 for 1 or more “Habits.” It also gives me feedback for future weeks.

Please PM me your points by Tuesday at 5 PM Eastern Time. I will post the results as soon as possible after that.

It is optional to participate, but I know I do so much better when I participate. :goodvibes

Welcome to Healthy Habits Week of 5/4: Peter Pan's Flight

Peter Pan is one of my first Disney movies. Tinkerbelle has a place in my heart. I enjoy the story line and how it is recreated on Peter Pan’s Flight in Fantasyland. I always find something “new” when I ride this attraction. Most of the characters in the movie (aka not the villians) have strength, courage, smarts, and gratitude. In their honor…

I’m pretty sure that flying is considered exercising. I’m not sure that it’s the exercise I’d pick, however. 1. Your “Habit” is to exercise for at least 15 minutes.

What adventure wouldn’t be complete without water? 2. This week, your “Habit” is to drink a total of 64 oz. of water each day.

The “Lost Boys” ate just about anything. Well, our bodies deserve the best. 3. Eat 5 servings of fruits and veggies in total per day.

Wendy loved to read. It was her way of relaxing. 4. Each day, spend some time relaxing. Again, if you think it counts, it counts!

Mini-Challenges:

1. I am hoping to never have to walk the plank, but just in case, courage will come in handy. Do something you would not ordinarily do. (This does not have to be sky diving or running on the beach. It’s entirely up to you. My plan is to spend some time playing the piano for the first time since this time last year.) Note: We are all courageous people. I just think it would be fun to try something different. Thanks to donac for this idea!

2. It may not be the focus of the movie, but I have noticed that the non-villain characters are very thankful. Write a list of 10 things for which you are thankful.

Please, please feel free to ask any questions. You are welcome to PM me or post on the thread.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Last night's Glee was a disappointment as well. The story line was dark and depressing and I felt like the song selections were boring (although I do like that song from Chicago.... but was that appropriate for a group of supposed high school students???). Kurt's performance was fun to watch!

Off to start my list!...........................P

I never watch Glee, but DH does (it's okay to laugh at him). So, he had it on while I was doing more WW research and I didn't care for the episode. I told DH the same thing about that girls song~a little innapropraite for supposed high school kids.

Congrats to DS. 12:07 is a great time and I can't believe he was 7th. Those are so fast kids.

I would love some insider info on the Run for Your Lives events. They look fun, but I'm still hesitant.

:rotfl:

Here's some good thoughts for you~:goodvibes

Good luck on all your school work and try not to stress too much. And, do not worry about missing a workout. You have to take care of yourself in other ways, too.

:banana:

Congrats on the dress. I'm sure you'll look just like...well, Cinderella :)

I try to make better food choices. My workout schedule pretty much stays the same, so no one is yelling at me to push it harder or longer like Bob or Jillian :lmao:

Glad you finally got some relief. I've used a foam roller at the gym. I liked some of the moves and others I didn't care for. Good luck and have fun!

I am very excited because the other day I got a discount on my room for my Aug trip. Wow! Great discount! I can't believe you're saving so much on 3 nights!

Ahhhh..poor thing. DS9 freaked when he had to have his molars sealed since they came in with no enamel. He had to be put to sleep to have it done because he freaked out the 1st time they tried. It's so hard to watch your kids be upset and scared and there's nothing you can do. Glad she's ok.

How fun that your parents are coming for Prom! Have a good time.

And, sorry that I have no ideas for the ribbons and medals. But, hundreds? Wow. Congrats to her (and good luck to you!).

My blood pressure if often about 90/60(or even in the 50s). DH often jokes that I'm barely alive. I was at Sam's Club with my sister and my kids one time and DSs were driving me crazy. I took my blood pressure in one of those machines and it was like 93/60. My sister was dying that I claimed my blood pressure had to be through the roof and it was only 93/60. Everyone's blood pressure is different, so just make sure you're feeling ok.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am actually excited to weigh in tomorrow. I've been doing WW since Monday and I feel pretty good. I even dipped into my weekly points to have a small pineapple sundae today for DS's birthday. Yummy.
I am sorry I don't have more time to post tonight. I have to pay some bills and discuss with DH if we are going to TX this summer. My family really wants to go visit my cousins, but it's so expensive to get to TX from PA. We have to decide soon because Southwest is having a sale right now.
So have a great night, and an even better weigh in!
Jill
Good Friday morning everyone.
We made it through another week. My ds2 is coming home today to pack up his room and tomorrow we are going down to take his things down. He has a small room and he is only moving into a studio. Dh keeps thinking of things he might need but at least he hasn't bought anything. I don't know how much he really needs. DH seems to keep forgetting all the stuff he has at college.
I am very excited about the discount I got for our Aug trip.. Someone commented that I saved a lot. We are staying in the ASMu family suites on the weekend so that is why it was so much. we needed a place that will sleep 6 since our ds's are joining us.
My classes are getting very nervous about their test next week. I have spent the last two days buying candy for them. I buy candy and the special ed class makes up goodie bags for them. I have to tell the kids exactly how many of each to put into the bags. Yesterday was battery changing day in my 2nd year classes. I think they are as ready as they ever will be.
Question of the Day We are now 2 weeks away from the end of this challenge. What are you going to do to finish strong?
I have been done some of the HH but I think I am going to really work at them and try to remember to send them into cc.
Have a happy and healthy day.
Interesting! I don't think I actually had my blood pressure checked since January for a fitness test and it was still normal. I haven't felt bad at all, so perhaps that is normal for me!
Good luck with weigh-in today!!
I think I may actually participate in the HH this week. Just stay on track and keep on truckin'. I believe the last day of this challenge, or close to it, is the day of my half-marathon. So I guess I really am going out with a bang. :cool1:
---
Good morning, friends!
I went ahead and weighed this morning because I really should be paying attention to how my body is doing rather than hiding from the scale. Needless to say I was shocked when I was down another 1.4lbs. Less exercise, ate around 1500 calories a day (before exercise, but I kind of planned to try it). It's nice to know that I can eat a little more if I want and still be on track. I am now .9 away from the 130s! :dance3:
Had a NSV last night. Went out to the casino and didn't get home until 10:30. It wasn't planned so I still hadn't exercised and instead of going to sleep I popped in Jillian Michaels and worked out. Was in bed by 11:30, satisfied.
Last day of classes, today! :banana: Have to go "grocery" shopping afterwards and pick up a whole cart of frozen veggies because it seems I have finally ate them all. Then I finally get to have a nice restful weekend.
Have a wonderful day and hope your weigh-ins were great!!
