Pamela, thank goodness for the backup!

Have you ever tried Carbonite? It's an online backup and it backs up offsite automatically. Having an external hard drive is good but if you have to store it offsite to avoid having everything wiped if something happened at home, God forbid. We use it for our office and it works great!
And while I am not an experienced prom person, I think it would be nice if you got your DD and her friend both corsages.
I'm lucky that I bounced back to my same number I've been at for a couple of weeks. The way I've been eating I could easily have found myself with a gain. With four weeks until my next half marathon it is way past time for me to get ahold of myself, recommit and get a good solid plan in place for the rest of the summer.
Have a great day all!
Will give myself lessons this week on using the external drive. No more leaving it up to DH's random backups!
Talked with DD about flowers. I think I will be buying a small bouquet for DD and her friend. She was concerned that a wrist corsage would get in the way and be awkward. I haven't ordered anything and am thinking of going into Concord Sat. morning and buying flowers and making up the bouquets myself....just not sure about how to wrap the stems.
MONDAY QOTDPlease share your favorite breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals. Snacks, too, if you like. What do you eat that leaves you satisfied and you still feel OP for the day?
Breakfast....it has evolved and changed a lot over the years. Current favorite is a 3 eggwhite patty in a low carb tortilla with a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese and baby spinach...plus coffee with skim or tea. Some times I also add sauteed onions, peppers, broccoli...whatever is handy as leftovers or whatever I have time to cook.
Other favorites include steel cut oats, low carb pita with natural peanut butter, greek yogurt with fruit, or cottage chese with fruit.
Lunch.....changes too often to state one favorite, but virtually always starts with a huge salad. Sometimes it is just a salad topped with beans, cheese, egg whites, nuts, hummus, or leftover meat or fish. Sometimes a salad without protein plus a sandwich (organic ham, turkey, or tuna or a veggie burger) a low carb tortilla, wrap, or pita.....or salad plus dinner leftovers.
Sometimes in winter when I want a hot lunch and I'm home I will make a big serving of veggie stir fry.
Dinner.....all over the board! Usually a lean protein plus a huge quantity of vegetables. Tonight was hamburg soup....perfect for a rainy day. It did have some potato but mostly carrots, onions, and celery.
Snacks are most often fruit or cheese (love Babybel light). Evening treats include fresh berries, Vitamuffins, nuts, or a bit of the newly discovered Philadelphia milk chocolate cream cheese on low carb toast! Tastes like chocolate cheesecake!
Breakfast:
Enjoy Life GF Cinnamon Raisin Granola (also oat-free) with Lactaid (also like rice milk)
Lunch:
Turkey and cheddar cheese melted on a product called Corn Thins (They are GF and 22 calories each!)
Dinner:
I'm not really fussy. I love chicken with pasta and sauce/veggies. Turkey tacos are another fave. I also like roasted pork tenderloins, roast whole chickens, and roasted turkey breasts. I prefer breast meat and my parents like wings, drumsticks, and thighs so a whole chicken is great for us.
Snacks:
Fruit like an apple, a banana, or a plum
Cut up veggies like peppers and carrots
Just a quick question ( or 2) about the corn thins....are they small like crackers or big like bread? Are they made with non-GMO corn?
Here we celebrate our progress and recognize our superstars.

Biggest Loser Fall Challenge Week 17!
This weeks group loss = 30.0 pounds!
Average percentage of weight lost 0.45 %
Total group weight loss so far 1022.4 pounds!
Yahoo, we've topped 1,000!!!
AWESOME!
Retention Rate (compared to the 144 participants we had sign up for our start week on January 1st)
25% (this includes the Losers, Maintainers and Excused people!). Let's keep sending those weights people!
Before the weekly superstar list comes the disclaimer. I am human and I make mistakes. If you have any questions please contact me. For your reference this is the magic percentage of weight lost formula - weight loss for the week divided by weight for last week times 100, that gives us the percentage. Now let me test that with my numbers for week 1, click, click, click goes the calculator. Yes, that agrees with the percentage on the magic spreadsheet. (btw if its been more than 1 week between weigh-ins, then the % loss is divided by the number of weeks, to keep everybody on the same basis)
Now let's get to the good stuff. Who were our superstars of week 17?

Quote from Dare2Dream: How is your week going? Are you OP (on program)? Are you exercising? Drinking that water? You know what to do to make the magic happen. Get on the wagon. We are all here to help you on the journey. We can do this one day at a time. One bite at a time.
Have a healthy day!
Congratulations cclovesdis!!!
!
HUGE congrats to you CC! I'm happy for you!
WTG to everyone on the list! Great job keeping up even this far into the challenge!
TUESDAY QOTD PLATEAUS - we all have had them. What can you do before the next weigh in to really kick your weight loss into high gear to either get over a plateau or to help ensure that you will not have one?
Believe it or not, I find that a day of eating MORE followed by getting right back OP will actually help kick out a plateau. But it has taken a long time of experimentation and record keeping to discover this.
Monday QOTD: Breakfast mint chocolate cafe latte healthy meal shake
Lunch- Protein bar or shake
Dinner- Eggplant parmesan
Tonight will be burgers
Tuesday QOTD: I plan on doing a different workout. Probably the WATP 4 Fast miles with intervals!
Slept in this morning kind of. I will do sit ups later and also the elliptical during BL.
I have to rub the pork that I will put in the crock pot in the morning. Ash and I also have to mix her cookie dough for her project. I will probably bake those tomorrow night with her so they will be already for Friday.
Ash changed the bandage this morning. It's still sore and gross looking she said but no more mole! She has dancing tonight and I have to pick up stuff at Shaw's that I didn't get last night because I forgot my coupons!
Time to take Izzie to school, stop and get a cup of tea at the Wellness Center and head to work. 2 clients today!
Have a great Tuesday!
TTFN
Glad your DD came through her procedure all right!
Thanks! He's been running since 4th grade and he's in 10th now. His coach was my classmate and he's been running since age 6. Our elementary school has a 5k run every spring and Coach still holds the record. 3 miles in 14:48. So DS has a great role model for running. We were all really impressed with his time this weekend, he's come a long way. I asked him if he pushed hard or cruised and he said he just cruised. I'm so jealous!!!
Today he does the 3200 at our meet (2 miles). Hopefully he does well!!
I hear you about the crummy day!! I'm pretty much drank my calories for the day in the form of Starbucks just to attempt to stay awake. I need to get the treadmill off blocks so I can undo some of the damage done with crappy choices. (raised it for the storms last week - potential for flooding) I see a salad in my future for dinner!!!!
Guess I should go log my food for the day on MFP, ergh!
Can I just go take a nap instead?
Log that food! Then put it behind you and move on. DD and I were talking about you and DS today...all good stuff, of course

. We were reminiscing about our trip last year about this time. Sad we can't return this year.
**********
Good evening friends! Bible study this morning followed by errands ( prom jewelry, groceries, pool store, etc), then just made it to pick up DS at the bus stop in the rain. Then 1 hour at home to start dinner and pack DD's swim bag and head to the high school to grab her from her after school study session and take her to swim. Then home again to eat and do a few home tasks. So THAT is why I'm just stopping by now!
Did find a few different selections at Macy's for DD to choose from for prom "bling". Fortunately the most expensive choice doesn't go real well with the dress, so there is a good chance I'll get out of this on the cheap!

Also grabbed her a metallic clutch that matches the shoes fairly well, so hopefully those will both see a repeat performance next year!
Looking forward to tonight's BL finale. I'm hoping that DH will offer to pick up DD at the Y later so I can watch it on time.
See you tomorrow!...........P
