I didn't want to highjack the Wii Fit thread. I was wondering if anyone had good results using the Biggest Loser Challenge Wii game?

I have been doing the BL Challenge on the Wii for about 2 and a half weeks. I haven't lost much, but I feel great! I attribute the lack of losing weight to eating more than I should, not the workouts. I love the workouts - they vary from day to day, and you can pick the level you want to work out at. I can't recommend it based on weight loss results yet, but I hope to do that soon! I can honestly say that I am stronger and my posture feels different after only 2 weeks, so that is something! Hope this helps!:thumbsup2

I have also been doing it since New Year's Eve. I really am enjoying it too but I also have only lost about 1 pound but I do feel stronger. I do not have a balance board but can still do it just fine although I don't think it is very accurate on the level I am working at. I do 20 minutes 5 days a week with Bob as my trainer. The way I look at it is if I wasn't doing this there is no way I would be doing these exercises on my own and I have been drinking my 8 glasses of h2o a day, 3 of them during my 20 minute workout! So this is a better than the life I was living before I started.

I don't have the game but have thought about getting it as well. I have the Zumba workout for the Wii and it is kicking my butt right now, so I think I will wait on purchasing another.

However I do have some ideas about some of the weight loss problems some of you are having. We have a womens workout group here in our town and it is FANTASTIC! Women only with no fancy weights or equipment and the trainers are amazing. I went to the bootcamp they had this summer and they explained some of the weight loss woes.

First...if you are upping your water intake and you havent ever been a big water drinker then your body is going to store it. Thinking that it isn't going to get it for awhile it holds on waiting for the draught to come again. Once your body accepts the fact that you are going to keep giving it water then it will stop storing the extra.

Second....she told us that some of our bodies (this would be mine) are in a sort of protest at the extra workouts. It may take several weeks for your metabolism to accept all the new input. We had some women that had gone for several months and only lost very minimal weight. Then all of a sudden it just started falling off!!

Don't get discouraged and hang with it...results will come! :yay:
