Biggest Loser Alumni Holiday Edition: past, present and future participants welcome!

Good Thursday morning everyone.

Had a productive evening last night. the tree is almost done. I will finish it when I get home tonight when it is daylight and easier to see.

Ds1 and his gf were baking cookies again last night. That is their presents to other families. It is nice to see them thank all the people who give them presents.

I almost finished wrapping dh's presents. I have more to wrap and then one gets a bow. Dh was wrapping in the living room and I was wrapping in the family room. It is getting pretty funny. Dh and I have presents wrapped. Ds2 has presents wrapped but ds1 has nothing wrapped. He has always been home so it is hard to get those things done. Last night I wrapped one of his and put it out. He was so funny saying I finally got one. He usually goes out on friday night so I think that will be the day we wrap his.

For those who asked about my son going to Gambia. His school has a chapter of Engineers Without BOrders. He got very involved with it when he was a sophomore. He was asked to go during winter break that year. We spent a crazy month of Dec getting his passport, visa and shots (6 of them). They taught people how to keep their road in order and worked with vets to teach people how to care for their donkeys and ponies. Theyare going back this year to figure out if there is a need for work on pumps for water. He leaves on Jan 2 and will come back the Friday before classes start in Jan. His gf is going to ElSalvador to work on water stations there.

I have to go and clean out the frig since it is garbage day. I was going to do it last night but ds was baking.

Have a happy and healthy day.

Good Morning all. Not sure who the coach is for today, but wanted to stop by and give you all a morning cheer. You can pass up those cakes and cookies at work and stick to a healthy plan for a couple more days. You know you'll want to splurge on Christmas so make good choice between now and then and you will be proud of yourself, feel powerful and maybe find a little of that awesome that was posted about recently :cool1: You can do it, you can all do it :wizard:

Sue -can u PM me your bacon egg and cheese bake recipe? Thanks!!!! What is Dylan asking Santa for Christmas? Thomas has liked sitting on santa's lap bc he gets a toy! Had to bring a toy to the mall and have Santa give it to Thomas.

Morning all! Got a four hour stretch last night thanks to having hubby give a bottle around 4am. Being exhausted has made me turn to food and that needs to stop!!!

Ave a great day all!

Deb, thanks for coaching yesteday! :flower3:

jenanderson, it is so nice to see you posting again! :goodvibes You have been missed. And so, so sorry for my horrible FB skills . . . I hate that once it's gone, it's gone for good.

Wednesday QOTD: with less thn 4 days to go before Christmas, what one thing have you been putting off that you need to prioritize and get done today? I'm sure we all have those little things that we've put off thinking we'll get a minute soon, but soon never seems to get here.

Yesterday I managed to get the last of my Christmas cards out! :yay: Today DH and I are going to the grocery store at 6 am to finish up the shopping and then we should be set until Monday morning. :santa:

Hello to all our alumni, I've only scanned through but it's great to see Jen and Nicole, and everyone from the fall challenge. I hope to find some time to read more thoroughly.

I'm sure I will be back, but for those who might not be, I want to wish you all a very, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Kwanza, or what ever holiday you may celebrate. I love having you all here to share with, the good and the bad, and the support is amazing.

Have a great day!! I wish you all a peaceful, stress free few days leading up to the holiday too!!

Same to you, Kathy! :santa:

Bummer about your Mom's computer, Gretchen. :sad2:

Jill, enjoy your last day before Christmas vacation! :santa:

Shawn, what did you decide to get your niece? :santa: I hear you on the struggling to stay on track. I'm hoping my run tomorrow will help and will get right back at in on Monday.

Gotta get the teacher gifts together with their cards. Also must gather my co-worker gifts tonight even though we have school Friday--don't want to leave it to the LAST, last minute
Michele/RutgersAlum

Good thinking! We've missed final day things because of snow days several times in the past few years. ::yes::

QOTD: i guess the thing i have left to do is to figure out what we're going to eat on christmas. maybe you guys can help?

we are staying home for christmas (not going to in-laws because they are crazy....long story) so i'd like to maybe start a nice tradition of being home on christmas. i want to watch the disney parade in the morning and go to church. DH asked me today if we should get dunkin donuts for breakfast on christmas. i was thinking it would be nice to make something yummy - a breakfast casserole perhaps?

do any of you have a breakfast casserole recipe?

i should probably make a nice dinner too...hmmm.....

It's a great idea to keep it simple and easy when it's just going to be you guys. That is what we are doing this year. I'm going to try a hashbrown breakfast quiche from foodnetwork.com that looks good. We are eating around 4 pm this year so that should hold us. We are having prime rib roast, twice baked potatoes, spinach casserole and Christmas Funfetti cake.

Also, to whoever mentioned d-cot, I blame you for the fact that I am going to get nothing productive done this evening-just discovered it and am making a rather extensive playlist!

That was me! ;) I listen to it all the time at work. I really like that you can play what you want when you want to hear it. I used to listen to Disradio but their loop is 24 hours and the same songs played at the same time day after day. There was also an hour where it seemed like Splash Mountain played over and over. I really love the loops and the music from the overseas parks.

Hi everyone,
Sorry that I'm late to the party. I just skimmed through, but will be back tomorrow and then again on Friday to coach

Nice to see you and thanks again for being our weightkeeper! :flower3: It's our Friday today! :yay:

It is good to be back and "see" all the familiar people! :goodvibes I am so surprised to see all the people here who have school on Friday...I hope it passes quickly for you. Our students finished today but I have a staff in-service day tomorrow (but get Friday off :woohoo:).

:woohoo: for a long week-end! Nice to see you, too, Jen! :flower3:

I've been very bad about posting for most of the last challenge. I've been able to read along but haven't had time to post. I'm going to go through and answer the QOTD for this week.

Nice to see you, too, momofdjc! :flower3:

Dona, it is wonderful for your DS to have the opportunity to travel and do good things for people even if it is a bit scary for his parents.

That person with the awesome is our coach today. :santa: I'm sure she will be here soon.

Morning all! Got a four hour stretch last night thanks to having hubby give a bottle around 4am. Being exhausted has made me turn to food and that needs to stop!!!

Yay for sleeping! :yay: That is still a very new baby that you have there so be kind to yourself -- it's a big adjustment especially with someone already clinging to your leg. ;)

Have a great day all! :santa:

I have to pay bills today!!! I've been blowing that off, and I can't do that anymore!

Hey all!!!! I'm your coach for the day!!! I won't be around much today since it's my turn to take the Kindergarteners to the town library with the teacher. ACK! So much to do and so little time!!!

This morning I am trying to start the wrapping. I need to go get more paper I think.
Holiday QOTD:Do you have matchy matchy paper or is it a free for all?

I admit I have become Martha Stewart with my wrapping. Everything matches, the bows, ribbon, paper etc. I also choose opposite colors that go to other places, like my Aunts house this year is blue and white, home is red, white and grey, friends are going to get another color that I have to go buy.
I already have my bows picked out for next year, I just need to find paper to match.

Disney Fluff Question of the day:
If you were to go to Disney during the holidays would you decorate your room?

I have Disney stockings that I made, I bring 3-M hooks to hang stuff. We have a tree with disney decorations, I try to do something in the window and all presents get wrapped in Disney themed paper.

Holiday QOTD:Do you have matchy matchy paper or is it a free for all?

Disney Fluff Question of the day:

Since I only have two presents to wrap, really, I use whatever extra paper hasn't already been used. Mom uses one wrapping paper from "Santa" (last year it was a Disney theme!) and then another from herself.

I would decorate my room, but it would depend on where I was staying. No matter what I would have my little tree and ornaments that I'm so fond of, and probably my string of lights and garland. If I was staying at a mod/value, I would decorate the windows with washable marker and window clings.

Today shouldn't be too busy. Mom has *finally* scheduled a hearing evaluation, so I'm going with her to that this afternoon. Hopefully I'll be able to sit outside the booth with the audiologist and observe!

After that I should probably start finishing up Mom's present and beginning my brother's. I'm also working on overhauling the "Categorized Food Porn" thread before I update it for the last time. (It's in a sticky on the Restaurant Board under "Important Links"...no calories to look!)

Pam you are so good my my mental health :goodvibes

Glad to be of help! Just give yourself a mental picture of that bikini every time you are tempted to grab an extra treat this week!

I'm the coach today. I had intended to post last night, but got caught in Christmas traffic when I went grocery shopping doubling the time of that trip. I got home and had to bake cupcakes and brownies. Thinking I'd make it easier I did the brownies in a mini muffin pan, cooled them outside with the cupcakes. Time came to frost them and I could not get them out of the pan without them breaking :headache: I spray the pan with pam so have no idea what happened. So at 8:30 last night I had to make a couple pans of sugar cookies (emergency store bought from fridge). Thankfully they came out cute with some red sugar sprinkles and little Santa faces. So the boys had their party treats for today and the teacher gifts. Now if they just remember them.

Exactly why I don't bake... that sort of thing happens every time!

Wednesday QOTD: with less thn 4 days to go before Christmas, what one thing have you been putting off that you need to prioritize and get done today? I'm sure we all have those little things that we've put off thinking we'll get a minute soon, but soon never seems to get here.

CLEANING! In fact, I am here and procrastinating right now about it!

I didn't get our mortgage app done last night, not even started. That HAS to get done today. I will also pick one room in our house and clean it thoroughly tonight. Of course the boys have a bowling match this afternoon which will complicate things, but I can and will do it.

Just popping in to say hello!! It's been a busy week, but I'm plugging along and getting ready for our Christmas eve celebration. I did a lot of baking over the weekend. I do just love to bake, and ds and i do gingerbread men which is a really fun activity. The qotd if I could only do one thing it would be my Christmas eve party. Our whole family comes, and my best friend and her family, and I've had it at my house every year except one for about 20 years. So many good memories, pics of my parents asleep on my couch in the early years waiting for midnight mass, ds and dniece looking in the sky for santa, really nice family time.

Hello to all our alumni, I've only scanned through but it's great to see Jen and Nicole, and everyone from the fall challenge. I hope to find some time to read more thoroughly.

Have a great day!! I wish you all a peaceful, stress free few days leading up to the holiday too!!

GLad you enjoyed your holiday baking time.

Well, I have a bunch of things to do today, but none of them are Christmas related. I have to go to the bank to close one of my accounts and have them note that I am temporarily moving. Then I have a dentist appointment for a cleaning. Next will be the DMV to renew my license: I am determined to get a good picture this time, and they said the number of characters that can fit has been increased, so my full name might fit this time! I'm also registering to vote/become an organ donor. :thumbsup2

When I get home I have to call Dell. Mom got a virus that crashed her computer so $265 and about seven hours worth of phone calls later we're finally ready to proceed to the final step of wiping her hard drive and installing a fresh copy of Vista. :scared1: :sad2:

Nice of you to help Mom with her computer.

QOTD: I HAVE to start wrapping today. That's all I need to get done. I'll wait until Friday to make my fudge and mini cheesecakes so they are fresh. So that's it for today. Oh, and I have to workout! I plan on going to the gym for a circuit training class, but it's warm here today (50 whoohoo). It's raining, though. If it stops raining, I will be running instead. I miss running outside. I still haven't braved the cold. oh, and I HAVE to stop eating cookies! I feel so yucky from the sugar! My co-worker and I have plans to run out real fast during our lunch break and grab salads. I am craving a grilled chicken salad!

I'm showing most of my classes A Christmas Carol today and made up a nice 25 question worksheet to go with it. I was going to show my younger group Polar Express, but the English teacher needs them for 2 periods to work on some essays, so we'll just show it tomorrow. I highly doubt very many kids show up tomorrow. We are the only school in our area with school and most of the kids told us they aren't coming. I'm all about an easy last day before vacation!

Enjoy your hump day!

Jill

Nice of you to make the last day easy. I really dislike those teachers who assign major tests for those last days before a big break! It makes family life stressful!

I have been really struggling to hold my weight down and have not felt like exercising!!!! Definitely going to the Y tomorrow and Friday after work. I have been doing OK at functions with treats and such only to come home later and eat a POP TART or CHEEZITS ! What is up with that:confused3
Yes, we should not have that stuff in the house.

Tracey, :scared1: you reminded me I missed the SNL Holiday special, waaaah.
We were at BSA Christmas party last night and didn't record it.

Got to scare up something for dinner around here and then taking it easy until 5:30 rolls around again tomorrow morning and it's time for work again:thumbsup2

Step away from the POP TARTS!! (Btw, have you tried the pumpkin ones???;))

QOTD: i guess the thing i have left to do is to figure out what we're going to eat on christmas. maybe you guys can help?

we are staying home for christmas (not going to in-laws because they are crazy....long story) so i'd like to maybe start a nice tradition of being home on christmas. i want to watch the disney parade in the morning and go to church. i should probably make a nice dinner too...hmmm.....

We started staying home for Christmas when DD was about 3. We wanted her to grow up with the tradition of Santa coming to her house and opening gifts at home. All of the grandparents live too far away to make it a "Christmas Eve at Grammy's" type of schedule.... plus DH's schedule was always INSANE right up until Christmas eve night! Anyhow it is a good time to start that tradition of staying home with your kids now.

Everything is done! Bank account will be closed tomorrow, and just got off the phone having it noted that I'm moving. Dentist was fine, no cavities. :thumbsup2 DMV was super speedy-I had visions of 3 hour long waits, but I was in and out in 10 minutes. Got a new picture, and my *entire* name now fits, not just my last name and then first and middle initials! :cool1: It should come in the mail within two weeks so I can have it before I fly, but if not, I still have the old one and it's not expired so it will be fine-plus my ticket is booked under "G".

I just got off the phone with Dell after another hour and Mom's computer is all shiny and new. I installed some anti-virus software for her, am downloading Microsoft office (free through my school) and then just have to transfer the few files she wanted saved from the external hard drive.

Also, to whoever mentioned d-cot, I blame you for the fact that I am going to get nothing productive done this evening-just discovered it and am making a rather extensive playlist!

I've popped over to d-cot a time or two, but like you, I get sucked into it and get nothing else done!!

Today is a SUPER LIGHT eating day for me, in preparation for the food to come this weekend. Sticking with my homemade juices and some lean protein. IT will be hard to resist during the swim team pasta supper tonight (spaghetti, meatballs, garlic breadsticks, and semi-homemade ice cream cake), but I know that I have plenty of yummies to come during the holiday. Thanks for the reminder about making GOOD choices today!!

Hey all!!!! I'm your coach for the day!!! I won't be around much today since it's my turn to take the Kindergarteners to the town library with the teacher. ACK! So much to do and so little time!!!

I can so agree with this statement!

This morning I am trying to start the wrapping. I need to go get more paper I think.
Holiday QOTD:Do you have matchy matchy paper or is it a free for all?

For YEARS I was all about matching.... one year would have a candy cane striped theme..... another year would be a blue and silver theme, etc, etc. Then the kids came along and I would assign a paper to each child..... it was more about the "theme" of the paper, rather than the color at that point (they would each get a paper that represented something important from that year... like the year that DS was all about Bob the Builder). Then they knew what paper was theirs and they didn't have to be able to read the tags.

Lately.... it is a FREE FOR ALL! I realized a few years ago that I had SO VERY VERY MUCH leftover paper.... especially since I would HIDE the "Santa" leftovers so that they wouldn't get found. Once the kids stopped believing I was free to pull all of that out and use it. And I decided I would NOT buy any more paper or gift bags until I used up everything. And it looks like this might be the year! I am down to two rolls of paper, probably both are 3+ years old, unopened. I still have lots of bags and boxes though. But I was determined to reduce my quantity by half (and be able to get rid of one of those HUGE Rubbermaid wrapping paper totes). So this year's paper under the tree is a complete hodge-podge.... and for once, I am okay with that!! Heck, this year I"m lucky that stuff is even wrapped!!

I think it is the scrapbooker in me that LOVES wrapping paper so much. I haven't even allowed myself to look at it this year!!

I imagine if we were going to be there right over actual Christmas, I would probably bring something... maybe our stockings and a paper tree for the wall or window? Never thought about it. DH's job doesn't allow any vacation time to be taken between T.giving week and Christmas day, so it has never been a possibility for us.

I will be avoiding the Food Porn thread! Just makes me too hungry!!

Morning friends! I am so VERY, VERY far behind today! Pasta supper is 6pm tonight and I have absolutely nothing done, other than putting sauce and meatballs in the crockpot and making the ice cream cake last night. House is in shambles, dining room table is covered with unwrapped gifts, etc etc etc. And to top it off I had to run to both kids' schools this morning because of stuff they didn't grab.

I did manage to start a load of laundry at about 4:45 before driving DD to the Y (not a real practice day, so no carpool ) But now I need to FLY through this house! Cleaning downstairs is top priority, then I will set the table and start the salad stuff. Cleaning upstairs will wait, if it gets done at all. DS will pick up the playroom when he gets home (since he neglected it on his list this weekend) and move the Wii up there for the kids to play Just Dance.

I thinking I'm still sitting here because the thought of all I have to do today is rather overwhelming. Oh well.... it will get done somehow.

I think I missed a QOTD.... I will take a peek and then reply and THEN get cleaning! ;) .....................P

Thank you, Buffy, for coaching today! :santa:

Have fun with the kids at the library -- I'm sure their minds are totally on reading. ;)

Holiday QOTD:Do you have matchy matchy paper or is it a free for all?

I have continued my Mom's tradition in wrapping in shiny foil paper. That is the only criteria. We have been using the same wrapping paper for years now it seems. We must have bought a bunch one year for a fundraiser at school. DH did the wrapping and informed me that we need to look for some paper on sale after the holidays. :santa:

Disney Fluff Question of the day:
If you were to go to Disney during the holidays would you decorate your room?

When we went to Disney for Christmas in 2009 we had a string of lights, a little Christmas tree, and wrapped the "presents" which were actually pictures of the presents that were at home. DS was 10 so he was fine with it -- it was like having two Christmases! :santa:

Today shouldn't be too busy. Mom has *finally* scheduled a hearing evaluation, so I'm going with her to that this afternoon. Hopefully I'll be able to sit outside the booth with the audiologist and observe!

Interesting twist on the "shoemaker's children" saying, Gretchen! :thumbsup2

Step away from the POP TARTS!! (Btw, have you tried the pumpkin ones???;))

:lmao:

And may I suggest Holiday Wishes on d-cot for your listening pleasure? :santa: I'm seeing a few of you BL folks on the d-cot list this morning!

Have a few things to do at work this morning and then I will be off until Tuesday. :yay:

Have a great day all! :santa:

After I left the Dis and "intended" to go clean, I decided I needed some d-cot music, but of course, it has been ages since I was there and could not for the life of me remember my username/password. I figured it would be easier to register again.... but of course, then it took me a while to pick a new playlist! But at least I've been enjoying it for a while this morning!

Anyhow...............

living room is done except for vacuuming, dining room is done except for vacuuming and setting the table. Ouch... that doesn't sound like much! Next up is the bathroom and mudroom and office..... those will be fast... mostly need a bit of picking up and a vacuuming. Then the kitchen... that will be a horror show. But the room that are done are at least done WELL, including wiping the baseboards and doing the windows!

Lunch was tasty, but not filling enough. Gonna pour a cup of tea and keep moving!....................P

Afternoon everyone!

This is going to be quick considering i'm leaving for Hollywood Studios in 20 minutes.

I'm a tad stressed out right now. I have taxes due on two houses by the end of January and trying to figure out how they're both going to get paid.OYE! Our tenants will be the TX house around the 27th. I called the electric company today and double checked to make sure it was turned off and out of my name.

Alan is scrambling trying to figure out what else to get me for Christmas. I'm not much of a "I want this this and this" for Christmas. Most of the stuff I had already told him I wanted he has bought and already gave me . I've got one gift under the tree that is wrapped (and I know what it is :laughing). I told him when they mone situation isn't as tight I want to get our Disney APs renewed. They expire a few days after Christmas but it looks like it'll be February before we can renew them.

We had a fun day yesterday at Downtown Disney. I picked up some Christmas presents for my stepdaughter (that I need to get mailed off tomorrow). I made two new Christmasy shirts at the t-shirt design place, we had lunch (no reservation and was seated within 10 minutes) at Rainforest Cafe. Then we headed over to World of Disney an I bought picture frames for all the photo pass pics that we're taken over my birthday weekend. Then we headed over to AMC and saw the new Chipmunk movie. By the time I got home later that night I was exhausted. i walked 1.62 miles that day. There's no telling how much I'll walk tonight at Hollywood Studios.

We're going to go see the Osbourne Lights and we have a dinner reservation at 815 at Sci Fi. I just happened to jump on there and see if they had reservations anywhere at the park and we got lucky. I love Sci Fi! We may catch a few rides while we're there as well. A perk to living so close: I can go for a few hours and get my Disney fill. ::MickeyMo

Okay, I have to apologize. This is my first time as weight keeper and I didn't realize that I was supposed to be posting something extra at the end.

Better late than never :confused3

QOTD: We always have some Disney paper. This year it's Toy Story, Tinkerbell, Pooh, the fab five and princesses. We also use Disney gift bags. We fill in with various other paper. I like lots of colors spread out around the tree. The same papers are used for gifts leaving the house. Each year I have to pick up more Disney paper, but I still have a pretty good stockpile of other wrapping paper.

If we were to travel to Disney at Christmas we would definitely decorate our villa. It wouldn't be Christmas without decorations. We've decorated for 4th of July at Fort Wilderness and Halloween at Pop Century.

GLad you enjoyed your holiday baking time.

I hope you got it all done. Tomorrow we have a Mortgage refi meeting in the morning then I'm tackling the housework. My mother actually started cleaning Nick and Hunter's room today, but they need to finish.

I had a lovely suprise today. My entire family showed up at work at Noon to have lunch with me. They got McDonald's for themselves and I had already had a yogurt so we just sat and talked. Apparently it was my mother's idea as she's been concerned that I'm depressed. So She called Chris, and her and my Dad picked up the boys. They also brought me a nice little rose plant. :goodvibes It's nice to see how much they all love me :goodvibes My mother doesn't distinguish between depressed and stress out. I have plenty of anxiety, but I'm not at all depressed.

AND THE BIGGEST LOSER for the FALL 2011 Challenge is:

:cheer2:Lisah0711 with an astounding 11.89% loss!!!!!:cheer2:

Congratulations to all of you! You all should be very proud of yourselves!

I have enjoyed working with all of you! I have cheered you when you PM'd me your losses and shared in your frustration when you had to post a gain!

It has been an honor to be your weightkeeper!!

I look forward to tracking your weights and goals in the next challenge. Keep up the great work :thumbsup2

Congratulations to everyone that managed to lose during this challenge and especially to LISA! 29% is amazing! :woohoo:

At the audiologist's today, it was confirmed that Mom does indeed have a mild-moderate hearing loss. Unfortunately, she can't afford hearing aids right now, and will probably have to wait 4 years to get them until I can get significant discounts. :rotfl: The audiologist was very nice though and even let me help out with looking in Mom's ears, running a test, and calculating some values. :thumbsup2

Sure thing, I'll go get it right now. The best part is that you can make it the night before, throw it in the fridge and pop it in the oven in the morning.

Dylan wants candy canes :rotfl: and Buzz Lightyear. How about Thomas? We are actually switching over his baby bedding set to Toy Story on Christmas. My sister got him the toddler bedding set and I picked up an accent rug at Costco.

Nice to see you and thanks again for being our weightkeeper! :flower3: It's our Friday today! :yay:

You're welcome. Some weight keeper, I didn't realize that I was supposed to post something different at the end :rotfl: Guess it'll be a lesson for next time.

Nice job rocking the fall challenge by the way :cool1:

Holiday QOTD:Do you have matchy matchy paper or is it a free for all?

Nope, it's a free for all :goodvibes

Disney Fluff Question of the day:
If you were to go to Disney during the holidays would you decorate your room?

If we were there for the actual day I would, but not if it's just around the holidays. We'll be there next December 1st - 8th though :cloud9:

Today shouldn't be too busy. Mom has *finally* scheduled a hearing evaluation, so I'm going with her to that this afternoon. Hopefully I'll be able to sit outside the booth with the audiologist and observe!

After that I should probably start finishing up Mom's present and beginning my brother's. I'm also working on overhauling the "Categorized Food Porn" thread before I update it for the last time. (It's in a sticky on the Restaurant Board under "Important Links"...no calories to look!)

Hi Gretchen,
How did your mother's appointment go?

What's the categorized food porn thread? I am going to look for it next popcorn::

Have a few things to do at work this morning and then I will be off until Tuesday. :yay:

Me too, yay

::MickeyMo

How cool is that? How was the Sci Fi? I love the Osborne lights :santa:

Awww that is nice

Okay everyone, I'm off to bed, but I'll be back in the AM to coach :cheer2:

Disney Fluff Question of the day:

We started using 4 different papers one for each of us. We came up with this years ago. We got one type for my family and one for dh's family. This way when we get ready to leave for Christmas eve or Christmas day we only had to look for one type of paper.

I don't think dh would get into decorating a hotel room.

Off to go to bed.

Congrats Lisa You deserve to be #1. It was a great season for you.

Have a great evening everyone.

DS8 gets one paper, DS5 get one paper, Santa wraps in another paper for together gifts (Dvds, video games), and we use another paper for the presents from us.

We would probably decorate a little. We would probably stay at Pop, so we might decorate the window area a bit. I enjoy seeing how people decorate. It also depends on if we have room in the suitcases lol. I'm not paying extra to check a bag to decorate. Although, I could just leave out some of DHs clothes for more decorations lol.

Thanks for keeping track and congrats to everyone!

I am totally (well DH right now since I am on here) getting wrapping done tonight! I am also so excited that DH and I are having a date night tomorrow night. It just doesn't happen with DH working every weekend now. I am dragging him to see The Girl With the Dragon Tatoo!! YAY! Those books were awesome and I can't wait to see this movie. It better be as good as the book (although they rarely are). I plan on doing lots of reading during this break. I just don't feel like I have the time during the school year. Oh well, now I'm rambling. On to finish wrapping!

Jill

A big, BL congratulations to all our losers and maintainers for the Fall Challenge! :thumbsup2

living room is done except for vacuuming, dining room is done except for vacuuming and setting the table. Ouch... that doesn't sound like much! Next up is the bathroom and mudroom and office..... those will be fast... mostly need a bit of picking up and a vacuuming. Then the kitchen... that will be a horror show. But the room that are done are at least done WELL, including wiping the baseboards and doing the windows!

Sounds like a very productive day! :thumbsup2

Sounds like a fun night! :santa: Did you see Rose? She was there tonight, too. It is so crazy, busy there it is hard to find someone when you know they are there. ;)

Okay, I have to apologize. This is my first time as weight keeper and I didn't realize that I was supposed to be posting something extra at the end.

You are a WONDERFUL weightkeeper and thank you SO MUCH! :flower3:

That was a nice surprise! :cool2: And, as you know, you always worry about your baby, no matter how old they are. :flower3:

Congratulations to everyone that managed to lose during this challenge and especially to LISA! 29% is amazing! :woohoo:

Thanks but the 29% was a little typo -- that was the total pounds lost -- but I did have a great challenge. :goodvibes

I wonder if the hearing aid companies have a program to assist folks or maybe something where you agree to be a tester. I'm sure you'll be figuring that all out as you progress with your schooling. But in the mean time Mickey is waiting for you! :smickey:

Thanks, Dona!

I always enjoy seeing what other people do for decorating at WDW, too. I've seen pictures of some Fort Wilderness things that were amazing! And, of course, you can't beat what Disney does too! :santa:

Please excuse me while I do a little :jumping1: here. I am so happy to be the Biggest Loser this challenge. This is the 10th challenge that I've done on the WISH boards since 2009 and by far the most successful for me. Everything just clicked this time. I watched my calorie intake, realized that exercise never burns as many calories as you think, and hit every goal I had for each month. I could never have done it without all of you to support me! I thank you all so very much. :flower3:

Have a great evening all!
