What are the chances that Big Thunder Mountain will be open in the next couple of weeks?????

In the next couple of weeks... probably not... It is still scheduled to be closed through 11/22. I don't know if there has been any word on whether the accident in CA is going to have an effect on the schedule though.

They are still on schedule to open on time 11/23 (have heard rumor that they "may" be a little early). I understand they put in a new computer system for the ride so the CM's have to be trained on that, which could take some time. But good news is that they have been running the trains through the ride this week... I had heard that they may delay the opening until DL reopens theirs, but I have also heard that they passed all the safety inspections and may open on time (or earlier). I guess we just wait and see. It is good to see the trains running and they have put the smoke stacks and headlights back on (for long time Thunder fans you will understand they were taken off a couple of years ago...)
