You can visit Town Hall and ask the cast members there for the recipe to the BTRBBQ cole slaw. Not all recipes are available, but we've asked for and received a copy of the cole slaw recipe!

You can also ask for the recipe pamphlet/flyer at the BBQ!

We asked for a little pamphlet at the check in counter at the Barbecue and it included the recipe for the cole slaw.

It was super tasty!!! I'd never even been back there before. Hubby was starting to get hangry so it was nice that they brought him out some GF rolls right away. Really really good food!

We were sorry to hear it is going to close. DH loves it.
We plan on booking once more. DGD has a dairy allergy. Does anyone know how many of the items contain dairy?
I assume the cornbread probably does, but not sure.
Can the corn be asked to leave the butter off? Or is it not really butter?

I would call the Disneyland Dining and ask to speak with the Special Dietary Requests department or email them (https://disneyland.disney.go.com/guest-services/special-dietary-requests/) to find out which items contain dairy.

Quick question if I may,
My son is freaked out by characters. Do they come to the table and visit with patrons?

There aren't any characters here. There is a singing/guitar playing duo. They are mostly harmless, but do ask for some audience participation.

There are no characters at the BBQ. Sometimes you can see Woody or Jessie in the distance (they meet over by the petting zoo area and walk by the restaurant on their way backstage - but they do not come into the restaurant or meet guests in the restaurant). There is often a singer and/or guitar player that moves through the restaurant, but it's a regular person.
