Hi

Just wanted to publicly thank a fellow forum member for sending my daughter and neices some postcards whilst at DLP - inviting them to disney for their birthdays - they were all so amazed to receive them !!! - my little girl knows they are real because there is a stamp from france on it - and has been showing all her friends how lovely Mickey Mouses handwriting is !!!!!

Magic Moments !!! :cloud9:

and a lot of pixiedust: pixiedust: for you and your family! Have a nice trip!

Have a great time - for me it's only 5 weeks to go, I can hardly wait and I'm a supposedly dignified 42!

That was a lovely gesture Antonio, hope you and your daughter have a wonderful time CarlaI.

If you think of it, could you send an urgent postcard from Mickey to my husband ? Just mention that Mickey and the gang desperatley need me there and I really should be thinking about booking in the very near future and he should stop being so grumpy and understand that I do need my Disney fix.
Well - it's worth a try. :cloud9:

oh your husband seems like the perfect friend for mine :rotfl: he,s been 4 times and has no pixie dust left so my DD and I went with friends this year . she brought him a glass that said on one side "prince charming!" and a picture of grumpy on the other side :rotfl2: men ! huh why dont they get the disney magic as much as we do?,my DD (9yrs) said she will not get married to a man who dosn,t like disney "bless her" princess:

You're daughter has the right idea :thumbsup2
I have to be honest and say Dh doesn't get the Disney magic at all, he loved the rides/shows first visit, but now he's bored of them, he gets nothing out of the parades or seeing the characters. We bought the "Grumpy" tea mug for him last time. So having dragged him there 3 times, I've given up, the way I look at it now is he can stay home to look after the dogs and cat saving us about £200 in kennel costs which I can put towards my next trip. :teacher:
The only problem is I've only flown once before and I'm a little worried about doing it on my own, although I'm not telling DH that, my boys aren't young so they'll be easy enough to handle, I can cope with Bristol but CDG's so big and last time we couldn't find the VEA signs and just ended up following people with DLP luggage tags and I hate not being in control or not knowing what I'm doing/where I'm going.
If only they'd build a decent rail link to Ashford :cloud9:
