Big sleepover at mine tonight

We are having cara's 8th birthday party tonight and its a sleepover and disco for the whole class! So please think of me tonight when i am doing 12 sets of nails, perfroming my best High School Musical routines, and being MC Claire....word!

oooh I sooo pity you Callum had a big sleepover for his 9th, I was up every hour calling parents to come and get their frightened/poorly/feeling sick/can't sleep kids - never again!
funny, the only one who stuck the whole night was the one kid I thought would be crying for his mum in under an hour!

at least girls should be easier, they're born more independant

so i finally feel nearly human to report to you all We had such a fun time, but its amazing how much these girls have changed in 4 years since starting school. Where they had always been a very tight knit group there was a bit of bickering going on, mainly due to one girl, but we got over that. They showed me their dances and little plays that they had done at school, we did the cha cha slide, we made ice cream sundaes, we sang hannah monatan very loudly, we told a story in a circle where each girl added a bit (it involved getting drunk and having sex which really shocked me coming from fairly sheltered 8 year olds ) we watched Just My Luck and i calmed it all down at the end of the night by taking each girl in turn and asking the others to say one nice thing about them, which made them all feel much better about themselves, their little faces lit up with the compliments. I tried to settle them at 11pm but it was really 2:30am before we had peace, and of course they were all awake at 6am!!
I feel absolutely zonked and fluey today but I'm sure this will pass soon enough, what a night.....never again!!! (ok agagin but not so many next time)
