I just bought a Big Shot and also some alphabet dies with it. All of them are so small and narrow, I don't know how I can even glue them down on a page. Any suggestions on how to use them and also some names of alphabet dies that are at least 1" or more large that can be used for title pages. The dies I bought are Sizzlit "Hayseed," Sizzix "Alpha Bubbles" (came with the Big Shot), and QuicKutz "Ring Master." All were much smaller than I expected or I wouldn't have purchased them. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

I am by-no-means a professional scrapbooker, but whenever I have things that are too narrow to use a tape runner on, I run those things across the top of a glue stick and stick them on that way. Not sure if that's the "right" way to do it :confused3 but it works for me :thumbsup2

I use a Sakura quickie glue pen -has a nice fine point - or if I have a LOT of letters run them through a Xyron thingy shaped like an X (forget the name of it).

But I am also looking for 2"ish letters so would love suggestions!

I don't have the big shot letters but I would suggest a glue pen for glue-ing them down on the page. I did that with the letters I cut for a recent title and it worked great..except with 8 letters left I ran out of glue.. thankfully, I had an extra glue pen!

If you go to Sizzix dot com, they will list the size of the letters in the description. A couple they currently have that are 1 inch or more are the You're My Cupcake and Go Go Boots alphabets.

Also craft tweezers help a lot. Some of the letters are so tiny, the tweezers help me work with them. I have the Cricut ones - I don't own a Cricut but they sell accessories for their machines and these work great. The worst of all is the dot for the lowercase I.

I second the Xyron X. It turns items smaller than 2" into a sticker. Very easy to use and no mess.
