Big River Grille...walking up ?

If anyone has reservations for Big River Grille and Brewery on 9/16 between 6pm-7:30pm they plan on canceling PLEASE let me know. It is our arrival day and the only day open to eat outside of parks since we don't want to waste a lot of time using park time to eat

I know that it's not as popular as the other TS places on Disney property and you can't make reservations through the dining line, so maybe some people planning on canceling wouldn't post it up.

Also, I am considering walking up anyway, reservation or not, since they are primarily walk up, are my chances of getting a table in this time frame any good? I did call and the woman told me they were booked for reservations that evening, but since they are considered "walk up" I wasn't sure how many reservations they accept and if they leave room for walk ups to come in.

My boyfriend LOVES brewery type places and the menu has TONS of things we would like to eat.

We have eaten there twice both times walk ups and never had a problem getting in. We also didn't have to wait long. I guess you could try calling them directly and seeing if they take reservations. You are correct that they don't take ADR's through Disney. The food is great. Try the grilled meatloaf. And your boyfriend will have to try the beer sampler. The beers are great as well.

I called BRG directly for our trip in early August. They don't take reservations, per se, but they do put you on a priority list. The way I understood it, it's like call ahead seating here at home. You may not get to sit down right away, but they put you at the top of the waiting list once you arrive. Hope this helps!

Based on past experience, I believe you would stand a very good chance of getting seated with only a short wait (less than 15 minutes) at BRG, during that time frame.
