Big River Grille and ESPN

Are these both just walk up and wait places? No ADR's possible?

Will we struggle to get seated for a party of 8?

Any suggestions to what times we might able to dine with the most minimal wait?

Correct, neither offer ADRs. They both serve lunch and dinner and you can easily walk-up for lunch, and dinner until at least 5:30. After 6pm, you should expect a wait particularly at the ESPN Club, and especially if there is a big sports event that night.

i believe you can make reservations for the big river grill but not espn. but i'm not 100% on that. we are at both in april while stay at the boardwalk and we had great food and the best server at big river grill. we did lunch. espn was the worst meal of our 10 day trip and the server was worse than worse. we will never go back there again. but i agree with the above poster that easy to walk in for lunch and after 6pm not so easy.

You are correct, neither restaurants take reservations.

While you can't make ADR's through WDW for Big River, in the past I have seen where you can call the restaurant directly for some sort of priority seating. Not sure if that is still possible, but it was in the past.

Don't know about ESPN, but for BRG,I believe you can phone the restaurant directly and make some sort of reserveation. But we've had no problems getting a seat for FIFTEEN PEOPLE with little or no wait ( and we've been here many times, love it )
