Anyone been there for lunch? Is it usually pretty busy? I see they don't take reservations, so I was wondering if that's somewhere I even wanted to look into having lunch at on our first day upon arrival. Thoughts?

We've eaten lunch there numerous times. Usually not too bad of a line -- depending on what time of year you are going. We've really never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes for a table. If you are a salad person see if they still have the grilled chicken cashew salad...it was yummy! The sandwhiches, and burgers are also good.

I've found it pretty dead for lunch actually. Unless there's an event going on in one of the conference centers around there, people tend to be out park-hopping at lunchtime.

EXCELLENT! That's kinda what I was hoping; that it'd be "fairly" dead around lunchtime.

For those who've eaten there, is it someplace you'd recommend? I'm not looking for great food for lunch, but I'd like a nice air-conditioned place with good good to tide us over until dinner that night. I'm guessing we'd pop in there around 12:30ish in mid June. :)

Absolutely. Again opinions will vary, but our whole group ( 15-20 of us depending on the trip ) love this place. It's got good "pub grub" and pretty good steak and pasta ( my father, the meat and potatoes guy, preferred the steak here than at Le Cellier ). And the hand crafted beer is not too shabby either ;) ... If it's not too busy, you can even get a tour of the brewery.

Was there at a late lunchtime (2-3) on Friday May 28 and it was not crowded at all. Didn't have entrees, just a couple of appetizers and some beer. Those were good. Personally (and I will get some opposition for sure) I preferred their cheese soup to Le Cellier's.

I loved it here. I had the Hazelnut crusted Mahi and it was very, very good :thumbsup2 . We got seated right away at lunchour too....no problem there(this was at the end of Sept last year)

Have fun!
