Big Lots ad for 3/2 - 3/6

The Big Lots ad I got in the paper last night shows "Creative Embellishments & Accessories -- Huge Assortment ---99 cents". I'm going over to check this am. In the ad is a pic of Jolees by You. I remember seeing some ivory colored note cards the other day in a pkg. Does anyone use these to dress up or embellish for cards for giving?


On a side note it also shows VideoNow personal video player in black and white for $15.88. I might look at that one, too.

I saw that too...I went last week and they had Life's journey little albums...with paper and all for 10.00 but they really didn't have much else...but I'm still going to go by and check it out!

I went to mine a half hour after they opened on sunday (when our ad started) and they didn't have much at all - no Jolees. I did get DD6 some paper (10 sheets for $1.00) I also got a bunch of other stuff so it wasn't a wasted trip, but no great embellishments..

Well, no Jolee's except for a pkg. of fold over cards. I'm pretty disappointed, but it looked like they had been picked over already when I got there today. My Big Lots typically puts their ad stuff out on Tuesday, so I guess that's what happened. Anyway I did find some nice things......

These are all made by Hirschberg Schutz & Co.---

Japanese obi (I think that's what it's called ---using for Japan pavillion in Epcot) It's made from origami paper and on a foam sticker

Little dominoes (4 in a pkg.) ---Mom has a domino group on Mondays, and I want to get a pic of her and her friends for a book for her

Tiny pacifiers in pink (plastic) with cardstock baby bottles

20 ribbon bows on foam dots

Crocheted baby caps in pink and blue (6 in a pkg.)--cute!

Crocheted baby booties in white and blue (4 in a pkg.)

Ribbon bows on foam dots--3 colors

Tiny fabric gloves and mittens

Small cellophane Valentine's (heart print) bags with ziplock

Anyway that's most of what my store had.

Thaks for the heads up on the ad. I tried the store in South Miami and they were out of everything!!!They only had one kit of paper/album for golfers. So if you live down here don't rush out.

Mine didn't have much either. No Jolee's but they had some Card connection stuff. Nothing that I wanted though I got some cute baby onsies for $1.00 each adn a sunblock stick for cheap for our disney trip though
