Big Island Chocolate Chip Cookies?

Hello chocolate chip cookie lovers! Can anyone who sailed recently confirm whether or not the "Chocolate Chip Cookies" on the room service menu are still the same as the "Big Island Chocolate Chip Cookies" they have had on that menu in years past? My DH will be devastated if they are now some small Chips Ahoy type thing.

I've never hear of "Big Island" but when we were on the Wonder, the cookies from room service were fairly large. They seem to be the same cookies throughout the ship, though. We got those cookies from the buffet on deck 9 and when coming back onto the ship after excursions in the atrium (which is a first for me and may be an Alaska thing). They do taste better somehow from room service. Maybe because they are fresh?

The only cookies I have seen on the ship are very large. Definitely not Chips Ahoy type. They are up at Maters, in Cabanas, the MDR and on Castaway Cay that I know of for sure...we don't get room service so I cannot compare if they are the same thing, but I would bet a Big Island chocolate chip cookie that they are.

There are 2 varieties of chocolate chip cookies on DCL. The ones you get in cabanas and up at the quick serve spot (flos /maters ) - those are "normal" sized cookies. The other kind - the ones they serve on CC - are about 50% larger, have chocolate chunks instead of chips, and I would swear are a slightly different recipe.

The cookies available from room service (which you can ask to be warmed) are the larger kind like you get on CC.

They were NOT big on the Wonder in Alaska in June - the chocolate chip cookies from room service were about half the size of the big ones at CC and what we got from room service on the Dream in 2015.
