What do you think will happen? Any more deals coming up? We are booked with WJ direct but friends still holding out for late Feb deals. My hunch is slim chance.

I'm not expecting prices much lower than we're seeing with this current sale - especially with Westjet. We're going August 23 to September 6 and booked at $149 plus taxes each way ($422.01 per person total)

I was monitoring the same timeframe for my niece last summer from March onward and never saw a rate drop that low ... I ended up booking her out of Buffalo (student budget) but I like Westjet and I'm happy to be able to fly from Toronto.

We saw $119 a few weeks ago on a Sunday but BLAM! it was gone the next morning.

They change daily.
When I booked Ft Lauderdale I checked every day and it was amazing how often it changed. You have to keep checking.
BTW I did get $98 each way on AC, so it cost us $945.00 for 3 of us, March 16th to March 23rd. (March Break) Again I checked every day, both AC and Westjet.

Out of Halifax flights on United and Delta are actually slightly cheaper then WestJet and Air Canada so I'm wondering if in the spirit of competativeness WJ and AC will lower prices again on Sunday. I've got my figure hovering over the "purchase" button for my May trip but scared to hit too soon! :scared: I should say too that I'm looking at flights into Tampa which are slightly cheaper then Orlando.

You just never know. While not to MCO, we bought some flights on Monday for the summer from Edmonton to Hamilton on the WJ sale. A day later and the Hamilton-Edmonton flight was sold out of the cheap fares and only a few seats were left for the outbound flight. :confused3

The popular routes and times, especially non-stops sell out really fast. For us here, I'd expect any Alberta-MCO deal to only take a few hours to sell off the sale priced seats.

The nice thing about WJ is that they now tell you how many seats are left at that price. :)

My guess is that there will be a series of short term sales (like WJs one day sales) if the seats aren't selling well and that by June-July there'll be some like these recent ones (for trips until Oct 31) from AC and WJ. United usually will reflect AC sales as they are codeshare partners.

Sometimes it is cheaper to fly into Tampa. For us at Christmas it was $400 per person cheaper and in May it was $500 per person cheaper. That is flying out of Edmonton. Not sure where you are flying out of.

I just read a WestJet vacation promotion in the paper this morning. $1079 pp for flight, tickets, $200 gift for 7 days. pixiedust:
