I will cut right to the chase, Im a big guy....ok im a fat guy.

I did go to US/IOA last year but avoided alot of rides due to my size. I have lost a bit of weight now, Im 6ft and weigh 320pounds and have a waist of 48inches, most of my weight is around my middle.

Am i going to have trouble on any rides in parks - mainly The Simpsons ride, DrDooms and Jurassic Park

Any help would be great.

Congrats on the weight loss!:thumbsup2

You will not have any trouble with Jurassic Park, I don't know about Dr. Dooms.

The rides you are talking about should not be a problem cause I am a big guy too and am about 6ft and weigh about 285 and the only ride I had problem with was dueling drangons cause I have a 56 inch chest and made for a tight fit

depending on your build, Dr. Doom could be a tight squeeze, but do-able.

My main problems are Hulk and the Dueling Dragons.

Dr. Doom shouldn't be a problem because me and my friends don't pull the harness down all the way so we can float at the top. Same with Jurassic Park. The Simpsons Ride has turned down bigger guests, but I'm going to be honest...it's not that great a ride, Back to the Future was WAY better!

People that are saying Hulk and Dueling Dragons will be tricky are wrong! Rows 3 and 6 are designed for you--they have specially designed harnesses to fit 'guests with certain body dimensions'. Just get in line for row 3 or 6 and you'll get to enjoy the ride.

Be careful on Mummy, too--test ride the seat at the entrance to make sure you'll be comfortable. Oh, and congrats on the weight loss! Have a good time!

I am 5'5" and weigh 280 and was wondering about the mummy. Does the bar automatically come towards you or can you pull it down with you as you sit down? I had read somewhere (I think on this board) that if you pull your bar back with you as you sit down you are more likely to fit.
Also, what about the simpson's ride? Why are they turning larger people away? What kind of a seat is it? I know I can fit on the Hulk and DD with modified seats. Are there any other rides I should be worried about?
