Big fan of Trail’s End

Not a fan of having no boat from WL, where we are staying, to Fort Wilderness. Anyone have a feel for when or if that might be restored?

Isn’t there bus connection between Lodge and Fort? I seem to remember a sign for the bus to FW.

We are fans of Trails End, but took our car to FE the last time we were there, in October.

There is a bus that just goes between fort wilderness and wilderness lodge.

There used to be a wide path between WL and FW. I can't remember where it comes out at each resort, but hopefully it's near Trail's End.

The path was closed when Reflections was being built, and has not been reopened!

Thanks! I was thinking of taking that path next month, but now I know. Someone mentioned a bus between WL and FW. Does it go to the Trail’s end area?

I don’t know. However, if it goes to the transportation center at FW, then you take any of the FW buses, because they all end up near Trails end.

The WL-FW bus goes to the Trail’s End area.

Our last trip we took the boat from MK to FW, had the best meal of our trip at Trail’s End, then took the bus to WL. It was super convenient.

We stayed at Copper Creek last month and spent a day at Fort Wilderness. We drove but used internals buses to get around. There were Wilderness Lodge buses constantly coming and going.
They did stop in the Trails End area.

I really miss the boats though. It was so nice to be able to go to FW, WL and CR. Opened so many more choices. We went to Steakhouse 71 and took the bus from MK and walked to and from CR. Would just be nice to have the boats back.

I hope this isn't a permanent cutback as it seems most other boat services are running now. We always loved using the boats between WL and FW/CR for the same reasons, opening up so many more opportunities of eats and things to do besides the parks
