Now I know why SWA is my favorite airline.... They make things so simple... why is it SWA has ALWAYS made money & the big airlines are always losing? I don't get it... Thanks for posting the article though, it was interesting!

Well, Chris, I guess the answer is good old fashioned down home service. I will take the boarding procedure, happily, over the regs. and limits. There is just so much that I will do for an assigned seat.

Do these so called major airlines WANT to go out of business? Nothing like alienating the passengers that ARE flying now with more restrictions and less service.
