We’re staying at BWV with kitchen. Are you able to take your leftovers out from the Biergarten all you care to eat meal? I can understand not ordering more to take out, but the food that they bring out intially. Seems like a waste to throw out and I’m actually a leftover fan.

I doubt they will. Also, nothing goes to waste. Disney recycles leftovers

i assumed OP was asking if they could take out food which was on their plate. Not sure what you mean by Disney recycling that, unless as compost.

Exactly. They want to take their AYCE leftovers back to their villa. I doubt Biergarten will have boxes.

And if waste is what they worried about, Disney has a food-scrap recycling system (compost).

They're not going to let you take it out, doing so would only encourage some people to get more food and then be "full" just to take it out. When we did whispering canyon cafe I specifically asked for more of a couple items, I knew I wouldn't be able to eat more of everything they brought out. Plus, I didn't want to haul left overs around myself.

My sister always has a ziplock bag in her park pack for leftovers. We don't help ourselves to excess food to create leftovers, but if we have food that we don't finish, she takes it. We paid for it, after all, and I've had bariatric surgery so I rarely eat even half of a meal served at WDW.

I would suggest bringing some ziplocks or small food containers in case the restaurant doesn’t have carry out containers available.

My daughter and I were there in late August - just way too much food for just us and we felt really bad about wasting food but we noticed the plates all appeared to be 'pre-plated' similar for parties of 2-4. That said, we asked to take the left over cookies with us and the CM told us they didn't have boxes or containers and could only offer napkins.

At Chef Mickeys when it was a buffet they let us take a few extra desserts with us, (gummy bears, macaroons and cookies) even gave us little water cups to do so.

I would bring little ziplocs to put the left overs in and if your truly worried ask them if you can take what is left.
