My daughter (5) is a very picky eater and I am wondering if the Biergarten has andthing she might eat. Though German food isn't my favorite, I think we'd both enjoy the entertainment, but she generally eats only pasta, rice, chicken nuggets, burgers, hot dogs, and PB. I know they have brauts, but what about a plain hot dog? Any help would be appreciated!

My daughter is a very picky eater and found plenty to eat at Biergarten. The kids section of the buffet had mac & cheese, chicken nuggets and plain hot dogs. We encouraged my daughter to try a few different things and she wound up loving the potato soup and spaetzle with bacon and cheese. :thumbsup2

The schnitzle when we went was chicken, not pork, so it was breaded chicken breast. The spaetzle is also a good bet since it's like pasta. Potato dumplings might also go over well. I'm a very picky eater and I love Biergarten!

Spaetzle is nothing more than a heavy German pasta so she'll like that. And thee are "comfort foods" on the buffet as well. The pretzel rolls are very good (just like a big fat pretzel). The desserts are to die for (especially the Bavarian cheesecake - I had three helpings the last time I was there).

You might consider going there for lunch instead of dinner. Cheaper price and same entertainment and almost the same food (more dinner type things come out for dinner but I don't think your daughter would be interested in those anyway).

Also, some advice for the entertainment. Make your reservation for about 15-20 minutes before the band is scheduled to perform. You can get seated, have your drink orders taken and get your first plate of food before the band starts.

I have a SUPER picky DD7....I am in the process of making ADRs for our March trip and she just told me BierGarden is her FAVORITE restaurant! :confused3 :thumbsup2

Most of the TS places have a boring limited kids menu so she lives on mac & cheese and chick nuggets and even she gets sick of that garbage.:guilty: At the German restaurant she eats roast chicken, brats, pretzel bread, some potatos, and other sides....it is the only place she gets a fairly decent meal that is a little more wholesome than the lame kids menus offer. I booked it three times for our trip! I don't particularly like the seating they offer, but my girls don't even care - they enjoy that place and are willing to eat with strangers to be able to dine there.

Happy planning,

Lives4Disney :)

We actually like the idea of eating with strangers, because with us, strangers rarely remain strangers! We see everyone as potential friends, if only for a brief time!

:) THat's a nice attitude. We 3 girls are more on the shy side though so it is a little painful haha.:)

Enjoy,

We just did Biergarten on our trip. I am a fairly picky eater, and found some things I really enjoyed there. I think that we will definitely go back to this restauraunt, though I wasn't really into the eating with people you don't know thing. The people at our table pretty well ignored us, which was fine as we are very shy. It was only ucomfortable when BF would leave the table to refill his plate and I was left alone with a bunch of strangers!

They have hot dogs :thumbsup2 DS4 isn't too adventurous and he loved the Biergarten! He tried a lot more food than I thought and he loved the music and the dancing.
