Bid on 1 BR / larger unit on PL or Hotwire?

first time attempting this,,, can i do it if i don't want just a regular two bed room?

We need a suite or 1 BR with a wall up. thanks all.

If you search your dates on Hotwire, the selections will indicate condo or hotel. There are some great deals to be had on Hotwire if you are willing to chance the location. I recently booked a 3 1/2 * condo Disney Main Gate/ Celebration area for $46/ night for a one bedroom suite. The property is Mystic Dunes.

Better bidding is a great site to help you identify properties.

cheerky that's a great tip. i'm on hotwire and i see that in / near wdw they listed hampton inns and etc . after i checked off condo.

but hampton inn is not a condo, so what' s this? thanks

We really liked Mystic Dunes and plan to stay there again later this month. Its not far from the Disney parks at all, using Sherberth Rd.

I'm not sure what your asking about Hotwire. When I search dates/ location on Hotwire, the hotel/ condo is not revealed until I book. However, the description will include location, amenities, etc.

Looks like Hotwire has a new search results page that appears some of the times and not others. The new page is not that great, but one thing I really like is that you can filter results by amenity (e.g., 1 or 2 bedroom). I don't think you can do that on the old page.

As for figuring out what hotel you're going to get, there's 2 great sites to cross reference. www.betterbidding and www.hoteldealsrevealed.com

Oh, and Priceline's Express Deals sometimes offers "bed choice" but not very often. If you're like me and need a 1 or 2 bedroom unit, better to avoid PL.
