Anyone ever use them to/from the parks/hotels? The drivers apparently work for gratuties and I'm not sure what to offer for a trip from Portofino Bay. Don't want to overpay nor make a faux pas by offering too little. $10? $20? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

We used them a lot. They were all so friendly. We tipped between 5-10 bucks. Depending on if it was just two of us, or all four (two small kids).

Great question OP. This is something I was interested in as well.

Anyone also have an idea of what the weight max would be? My DH is a BIG guy....and heck, I'm no Tinkerbelle either. Very curious about what is "too much" :scratchin .

Lol.......I'm definetely no tinker belle........DH and I use them very occasionally and tip $10.

I did say to the guy the first time we went on one was he sure he wanted to take us........he just laughed and said no problem........you know what we look like, so you'll be fine :thumbsup2

They are usually honest and will tell you if they think it'd be too much for them. My uncle (a bigger guy) said once they guy said it was too much for him and a a younger (very fit) guy stepped up and took them...and received a big too for it!

My husband and I aren't small at all, but nobody's ever even seemed to break a sweat or huff and puff while it's us and our 12 year old son. We usually tip $10 from RPR and $15 from PBH. We only tend to use them when it's stupid hot and we just don't feel like walking or waiting for the boat.
