Bice Restaurant at the Portofino?

Has anybody had a meal at this restaurant? I saw the menu at Open
table.com it looks to be a good one. Any comments? Thank you kindly.

When we stayed at PBH a couple of weeks ago, we were thinking of trying Bice. However, we noticed that we never saw many people going in and out of there. It always looked empty to us. So we asked one of the employees at the hotel about it. They said it got a really bad review a few weeks back. We were unable to find anyone who actually ate there though. We passed after hearing that and went to Emeril's instead. Had a great dinner there!

I've eaten there a couple of times and, for the prices charged, I've been disappointed. I also LOVED Delfino Riviera, which Bice replaced, so that might have something to do with it.

Some dishes are terrific but others just so-so. It's also extremely noisy. Last time I was there we had to asked to be moved to a side room just so we could have a conversation over dinner. Service is also an issue. At these prices you shouldn't have to tell the server who gets which dish.

If you want Italian, Mama Della's is a good choice at PBH. If you want a splurge meal then Emeril's or Tchoup Chop.

I've eaten there and I prefer Mama Della's. The food is SO good there and the atmosphere is really cool

Definitely save your money and eat at Mama Della's.

We ate at Mama Della's our first night at PBH and loved it. Very good food and service - very warm and friendly. We'll definitely be going back there on our next visit.
