Am I the only one who thinks little gis who've gone there look terrible? They remind me of toddler pageants... What ever happened to less is more?

I think they look darling. It is only a little shimmer on their face and in their hair, some get their nails painted...in pastels. They resemble a ballerina princess IMO :-)

It's one moment in their lives. Not an entire lifestyle. Didn't you ever play dress-up as a child? My girls would dress gaudily, do their own make up and wear my heels. They looked ridiculous. AND those are precious moments I am so glad I experienced with them. BBB is just a fancier version of dress-up.

Lana :)

Yes you are. LOL When BBB first opened I went for MY birthday and I was not a little girl. LOL
If you don't like it then don't take your DD, or if you do take her tell them you want a more natural look and that's what they will.

I think they mostly look adorable! Especially with little beaming smiles. princess:

Some of the stylists pull too tight and it looks uncomfortable. Like a little girl with a mini face lift! :) But you can ask them to make it looser I hear.

I do wonder about the "snooki poof" extensions. They look a bit odd to me. Like a big princess mullet. But every little girl seems absolutely thrilled!
And that is what matters, right?

I wish they offered styles that looked like the actual princesses.
But they prob cannot do that because of all the different little heads of hair that come in and all the training it would require.

Haha! Agree! We're taking our niece in a couple of weeks and I almost want to "ban" that option from her trip because it's so fugly. BUT... I am forcing the control freak in me to back off. LOL! It's her experience, so she gets to pick whatever she wants. Fingers crossed her Auntie's good taste was inherited. Hehe...

It's the extensions that freak me out I guess. I let my little girl get dressed up and I do her hair and put on lipstick (she's 4) but the hairstyles at BBB really do freak me out!

I agree though, it's how the little ones feel that counts.

I can't say I'm a fan either. My daughter loves to dress up in her Princess dresses and I'm so relieved she's never asked for the makeover. She did get her face painted once, but they customized a very small butterfly for her. Nothing too over the top for either of us!

Funny... my girls use to play dress up at home. They have 2 large suitcases of dress up clothes.... BUT they never wanted the BBB makeover. I guess they are too busy with everything else at DL to want to spend time there doing something they could do at home.

Lana :)
