Bibbiti Bobbiti Make A Wish Helps our Boo Have Her Princess Wishes Come True!!!

I think this is one of the best interactive character meals on property, love the fun the steps bring to everyone....yah, the food not the greatest being a buffet, but the show is more than worth the money!!!

I totally agree -- the stepsisters are a RIOT -- we ate there as a family last summer and those girls were laying into me -- the kids (17 and 14 at the time) LOVED that someone was picking on their mother and getting away with it. Not my favorite buffet either, but they made it worth the money for sure.

What's next Erika? Loving this report -- and can't wait to see you again!!

Brenda

After an amazing dinner with Cinderella and friends we headed back to GKTW for a birthday celebration for Fuller and Chelsea's favorite big rabbit Mayor Clayton. The kids were sold the minute they saw there were birthday hats involved and cotton candy made fresh which they had never had before.

Chelsea ready for the party.

Fuller ready for the party too.

DSC_0254.jpg

It was raining outside so the party was in the theater. There were cards to make for the mayor, backpacks to color and fun to be had. The kids really had fun with coloring their own backpacks.

DSC_0271.jpg

Our little love hanging out at the party. She seems so happy and content...and I am pretty sure after such a great day she was!

DSC_0264.jpg

At one point they had the kids get under the tables to hide to surprise Mayor Clayton when he came in for the party. But then he did not show up so they all thought it was funny to hang out under the tables for a bit.

DSC_0256.jpg

Mayor Clayton arrived and the kids all "surprised" him and then the kids got to go up on stage with him to wish him a happy birthday. Chelsea jumped on the chance to see him and hang out a bit.

DSC_0262.jpg

After the party we made our nightly stop at the ice cream shop because dessert after dinner, birthday cupcakes and cotton candy were just not enough. :lmao::cool1:

Here Fuller and Chelsea are in deep ice cream discussion.

DSC_0283.jpg

Then making silly ice cream faces...I love catching them in such happy moments when I know they are totally in their own world with each other.

WHAT A DAY!!!! I am loving doing this TR, as slow as I may be at getting it done, because it is just a wonderful reminder of the amazing gift MAW gave our family. A week of dreams come true can leave you speechless sometimes!

Let's see how our day compared to our original plans...

1. Seuss Landing---We loved it. We rode The Cat in the Hat 6 times! This is an awesome area for kids Fuller and Chelsea's age...I might have loved it just as much.

2. Flight of the Hippogriff--kids loved it and loved riding it back to back. Plus Butterbeer stands were right there...Yum Yum Yum.

3. Find Spiderman for Fuller---Spiderman Found...He was so cool just chatting it up with the kids. Since Universal gave us one free picture we let Fuller get one with Spiderman to frame in his room. He loves it.

4. Jurrasic Park Discovery Center---Kids vote to leave Universal to return to GKTW for swimming so we missed this. No worries...maybe next time.

Dinner at 1900 Park Faire---Step sisters were SOOOO great. Really fun time!

Extras for the day---

**Meeting Sam I Am, The Cat in the Hat, The Grinch and Thing 2---all really nice!
**Christopher and I used parent swap to ride the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride...fun but it took up lots of time due to the ride being down for a bit.
**Swimming with the kids at GKTW---Fuller and Chelsea loved the pool so it was such a fun way to spend the afternoon.

Coming soon...DHS here we come for some Jedi Training or Bust!

love the ice cream faces!!! sounds like they had a major sugar overload!!!
your day was filled with so many fun adventures!
looking forward to your DHS day and hopefully Jedi fun!!!

What a great day. I loved how you captured their expressions while eating ice cream. What a great shot. I;m on sugar overload just thinking about all that sugar:lmao:

Yikes, I fell behind a few pages but I'm all caught up now. I love seeing their cute, happy faces! They are both so adorable. I love the photo of Chris with the kids surfing. You should print it and put in a special frame as a Father's Day gift. :)

You've got me really thinking about checking out Universal Studios one of these days. I haven't been since the park opened up and practically half the rides weren't working. :rotfl: DF and I have avoided it because we aren't big amusement/thrill ride people but seeing you talk about all the fun and all the nice employees there makes me want to check it out. Loved the Grinch story with Chelsea, she seems to bring out the sweet side of everyone - even the Grinch! :goodvibes

I love the ice cream photos and that you were able to catch that special bond that Chelsea and Fuller have with each other. Can't wait to read more!

a quick hi-jack Erika, just wanted to share with the peanut gallery....

we got to meet Chelsea, Fuller, Erika and Christopher today!!!:banana:

the kids are just so dang cute, sweet and funny! they are such wonderful little kiddos! their mama and papa have done an awesome job in raising them! they are a very happy and kind family!

we had a yummy breakfast at the waterfront down in Kirkland and hung out on the pier for a bit....the weather was nice sunny, breazy and a few clouds!

thanks for taking time to meet with us....hope we can do it again someday!

hope the rest of your visit is great!!

Joining in... I'm luvin your trip report

How cool that the kids got to ride the carosel with Mayor Clayton and his bunny friend and how cool that you got the two of them for tuck in even if it was because GKTW thought you had 8 kids :goodvibes

The pic of Mickey and Minnie giving your DD kisses is super cute

I don't blame you for tearing up with some of the amazing pixie dust you got. That CM Jill sounds amazing! CM'S are the best!

The pic of your DH and kids on the surf board is so cool and I love the pink cinderella dress

OMG!! I love the trip report so far. I love how Chelsea held on to the rabbit's hand the whole time. Those rabbits are cute.

Talk about slow...HOW did I miss the last update???? I love your adorable children they are obviously having the time of thier life and savoring every moment. THANK YOU for sharing them with us!! :goodvibes:goodvibes

Wow...after my longest delay yet I am back with a new installment for our TR. Summer + Descent Weather in the Pacific Northwest = No time inside on the computer.:)

We woke up to a little bit of rain so I was a bit worried heading over to Hollywood Studios that they might not be having the Jedi Training due to weather. When we arrived around 10AM to the park we thought we would head directly for the Jedi Training sign up...instead we made a brief detour to get a few umbrella's since we had forgotten to pack any. That done we went right over and were able to get Fuller signed up for the 12:40PM Jedi Training. The super lovely and nice CM did explain however that there can not be any water on the stage so it would be very weather permitting. We crossed our fingers and headed to one of the things on our list the kids had been looking forward to Muppet Vision 3D. Our kids LOVE the Muppets and were so excited to see a 3-D Movie as they had never seen one.

Here Fuller, Chelsea and I are while waiting for the movie to start.

DSC05822.jpg

Here Chelsea, Papa and Fuller are in the theater about to start the movie.

DSC05824.jpg

We were not sure how they would feel about the objects seeming to come at them but they LOVED it...so much so we had to take oma and opa back a few days later. They can't wait to go on it again at California Adventure.

Next we went in search of Fuller's two favorite cars...Mater and McQueen. I think Chelsea was pretty taken by how big they were and I am pretty sure Fuller just wanted them to chat with him.

Fuller and Chelsea with Mater and McQueen.

DSC_0313.jpg

I love this picture of Fuller just gazing up to Mater. Sometimes I think he feels like he is getting too old for his love of Cars but in this moment he was just in awe.

DSC_0318.jpg

Next we decided to make our way to Toy Story Mania. On our walk to the ride we got a bit side tracked when Chelsea and Fuller noticed Buzz and Woody. A really nice CM traded pins with them while she waited to take us in the back way.

The kids love Toy Story so this was a treat...although my little Jessie fan just could not believe she was not there hanging out with Buzz and Woody.

DSC_0332.jpg

There were lots of hugs going on during this visit. Buzz and Woody were just so great with the kids. I'm not always sure how they do it but without talking the characters sure do say alot and our kids left their time with them feeling pretty special.

DSC_0339.jpg

We rode Toy Story Mania...that ride is so great but the lines were super long even on a pretty quiet day in the park so I was feeling very thankful for Chelsea's magic button.;)

Here Fuller and Chelsea are waiting to ride Toy Story Mania.

DSC_0347.jpg

After the ride it was still raining a bit and I was starting to get a bit worried about Fuller's Jedi training. I did not have much time to worry however because we hit the most amazing character jackpot ever.

Up next Characterpalloza---So Many Hugs, So Little Time!

Erika, this just brought happy tears to my eyes!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the photos of the kids!

way to go Chelsea, love her photo with PC, she's one determined little lady not letting the Prince work his magic on her!

I think this is one of the best interactive character meals on property, love the fun the steps bring to everyone....yah, the food not the greatest being a buffet, but the show is more than worth the money!!!

can't wait to see your sweet babies and you all on Saturday....hope they will be ready for some hugs!!!

All the characters were so great at 1900 Park Faire. It was a really fun meal. I hope she continues for a long time to not think too much of any Prince Charmings.:rotfl::rotfl:

Loved seeing you on Memorial Day weekend...highlight of my weekend. You and Megan were so sweet and lovely!

I totally agree -- the stepsisters are a RIOT -- we ate there as a family last summer and those girls were laying into me -- the kids (17 and 14 at the time) LOVED that someone was picking on their mother and getting away with it. What was next was me falling off the computer world for a bit. Rainy day today so I am trying to get all caught up and get an entire day of posts done. We will see...I just made my reservations for Disneyland so I owe you an e-mail so we can plan a meeting time...still can't believe our awesome luck that we get to see you all again.

love the ice cream faces!!! sounds like they had a major sugar overload!!!

looking forward to your DHS day and hopefully Jedi fun!!!

It was major sugar overload...at the time I did not even really realize it. It really hit me as I was writing up the TR. Fun day!

Jedi fun coming up...Fuller still loves to talk about it!:woohoo:

What a priceless evening -- LOVE the pics during ice cream time . . .

Brenda

They loved the Ice Cream Parlor...:cool1:

Love all the photos.... I love Chelsea's dress....

It is so amazing. Chelsea loves it too. She has worn it for her Birthday Party and yesterday for the Cinderella day of Princess Ballet Camp. I love getting it on her each time!

What a great day. I loved how you captured their expressions while eating ice cream. What a great shot. I;m on sugar overload just thinking about all that sugar:lmao:

I started to get a bit ill just writing about how much sugar we let them have...funny thing is we did not notice it was so much at the time. I think that's what a relaxed vacation is all about.;)

Yikes, I fell behind a few pages but I'm all caught up now. I love seeing their cute, happy faces! They are both so adorable. I love the photo of Chris with the kids surfing. You should print it and put in a special frame as a Father's Day gift. :)

I would totally check out Universal if you get a chance. It was lots of fun and we did not even really ride any of the big thrill rides!

a quick hi-jack Erika, just wanted to share with the peanut gallery....

We had the best time with you guys. We all keep talking about it. Thanks for meeting up with us and I certainly hope we get to do it again sometime too. Hope you are having the best summer. I can't believe how busy it seems like we are. No computer time as I want to spend every minute out in the not raining weather.

Hope all is well...Loved getting a chance to meet in person. It was fun to hear more about your trip and to get to chat with Megan. She is such a great kid!

Joining in... I'm luvin your trip report

Love the dancing pictures and the ones of 1900 PF. We had a blast there too!

What a fun place to eat...glad you had a blast too! The kids must have been in a dancing mood that night.:cool1:

OMG!! I love the trip report so far. I love how Chelsea held on to the rabbit's hand the whole time. Those rabbits are cute.

Mayor Clayton and Ms Merry are so sweet and Chelsea was pretty much in love with them. She would follow them around at the parties and just hold Ms Merry's hand. It was so sweet and they were super sweet to her!

Talk about slow...HOW did I miss the last update???? I love your adorable children they are obviously having the time of thier life and savoring every moment. THANK YOU for sharing them with us!! :goodvibes:goodvibes

Thanks for reading along. I am so slow at getting new updates up. I am trying to make sure I finish by the end of July...such nice weather here it is hard to be inside on the computer. I am loving following your PTR...Your princess is amazing and so is her Mama!

Hey there stranger....hope all is going well in OR!!! know what you mean about the nice weather, we have to take full advantage of it when its here!!!

thanks for you sweet words, its was a lot of fun getting to meet you all! give the kids a hug from us....

now back to Disney....love the photos at DHS! looks like the kids enjoyed meeting Woody and Buzz, to bad Chelsea didn't get to meet her Jessie!

Tell Fuller he's never to old to enjoy Cars....are you going to see Cars2? its totally different than Cars....more James Bond, but really a great movie!

Summer is only into its 4th day for us since school got out on Friday...we leave in 9 days for NY, so getting ready for that! will let you know if we make it south this summer!

Yes -- hope to hear from you soon (Krysten's getting worried that your plans have changed) -- I'm still working on our arrangements for the week (LA/Yosemite/SF). Now that graduation is out of the way and Boy Scout camp will be out of the way (for me anyhow) on Saturday, then I can focus on our trip!

I don't see it as luck -- I see it as a blessing!! Hope to hear from you soon. . . .
Brenda

Warning...this is going to be a pretty picture heavy post!!!

So we had ridden Toy Story Mania and we still had about an hour to kill before Fuller's attempt at Jedi Training what to do, what to do? Go get some hugs and autographs seemed like a good out of the rain kind of plan so we were off to The Magic of Disney Animation building. In Fuller and Chelsea's wildest dreams I don't think they could have imagined how many friends we would be able to meet. Many of the lines were not even too long but no CM was going to let us wait and often had us stay over so we could meet more characters as they switched out. We had a blast and here are the pictures to prove it.

Hello there Tigger and Pooh so nice to meet you!

DSC_0353.jpg

Next up was the Little Einstiens. We got to meet them all. Quincy, Leo, June and Annie. Fuller used to love this show so he was pretty excited about it.

DSC_0367.jpg

DSC_0377.jpg

The Incredibles were super nice and Mr. Incredible even helped Fuller strike a strong pose.

DSC_0395.jpg

Next we really quickly said hello to Chip and Dale. Did not get a great picture of all of them but love this one of Chelsea giving Dale some hugs!

DSC_0411.jpg

Goofy and Pluto were great fun to play with. They kept pulling the kids back for more hugs as they tried to walk away. Fuller told me "they must have really liked us because they wanted lots of love".

DSC_0426.jpg

Then we found Handy Manny a show both the kids really liked. He really outdid himself with his autograph by drawing little tools around it.

DSC_0443.jpg

Lotso was a hit even though I thought the kids might not like to meet him since he is not so nice in the movie Toy Story 3. They ran right in for a hug...it almost seemed like they might get swallowed up!

DSC_0458.jpg

We all got into the picture with Lotso.

DSC_0466.jpg

Then I was getting his autograph and he saw a Buzz Lightyear sticker on our clipboard we were using to get the autographs. Lotso gave me a stern head shake which kind of just cracked me up.:rotfl:

DSC_0469.jpg

Next up we hung out with Eeyore and Tigger for a bit.

DSC_0487.jpg

We found our way over to Socerer Mickey to get a family picture. The line for him was really long and the CM was helping us get to the front when a man in line tapped Christopher on the shoulder and asked how he could get a pass to do that. He did not seem upset but rather was wondering if there is a way to do that. Christopher told him the only way he knew how was by having your daughter's wish come true from the amazing people at Make a Wish. The guy put his hand on Christopher's shoulder and told him he hopped she had the best trip ever, that she had earned it and that he hoped our beautiful girl would remain well. I get tears just typing the story. Both Christopher and I were super touched at his very thoughtful reaction.

DSC_0498.jpg

Then there she was again...Daisy Duck and this time she had Donald with her. Chelsea just could not pass up the chance to love on her. They were all decked out in their fancy outfits.

DSC_0509.jpg

As we were walking out Chelsea noticed Minnie and had to see her since she had on her Minnie Shirt and Skirt. Minnie LOVED the outfit and kept on pointing to it and dancing around. Really cute stuff.

DSC_0529.jpg

Thinking we were done and knowing we had to get the kids out of there to make it to Jedi Training we saw one more character to stop and see...Stitch. As much as I tried to convince them we would see Stitch later it did not matter the kids minds were set. So here are Fuller and Chelsea with Stitch.

DSC_0537.jpg

And that my DIS friends is alot of hugs and autographs. The kids LOVED it!:thumbsup2:love::thumbsup2

Up next...Will the rain stay away and let Fuller complete his Jedi Training to defeat Darth Vader?

We are going to see Cars 2 I am just not sure when...soon I hope. He LOVES cars!

Chelsea might have missed her Jessie on this day but we found her later in the week which was great!

Yes -- hope to hear from you soon (Krysten's getting worried that your plans have changed) -- I'm still working on our arrangements for the week (LA/Yosemite/SF). You are right it is a blessing! Take Care...I'll try and get our plans to you guys later today!

I'm new to your TR but am loving it :lovestruc. Many pics made me tear up.

Awwww...thanks so much. We had a magical trip that I am happy to report has replaced many not so great memories with awesome ones. Make A Wish has an amazing way of doing that. Both the kids had a wonderful, magical and amazingly special trip and I am so grateful for this trip of a lifetime! Thanks for taking the time to check it out...I hope to keep some momentum and get further along in the trip.
