It's amazing how something so pretty can be so very annoying. Elsa is having a banner year this year that's for sure.
Argh. While I love the transportation to Magic Kingdom itself, sometimes I just wish I could just arrive there without having to depend on it. I know the buses now do, but still... It can be so frustrating.
It's such a treat to see the BBB in action since I have no kids and don't generally tour with kids. I can only imagine what a wonderful experience it would be with all the pampering (and lucrative for Disney). That would be quite a fun job I think.
That is so very true! The ice storm that we got was just stunning but SO very annoying! We are getting hit with more snow right now...it looks like about 10 inches with more to come today & tonight.... but so far we still have power. I'm a happy camper when I can enjoy it from inside a nice warm house.
Disney transportation =

I really think that they try their best, but with SO many people to move around such a large area... there are always going to be people stuck waiting. They really need to get moving on figuring out teleportation!
I could literally feel the tears well up in my eyes, I was so happy watching my girls at the BBB! Such an incredible experience for them and for me!
Those CMs that work there are amazing... I know how hard it is to get my girls to cooperate enough to let me put their hair up in a simple ponytail!
Oh my goodness what adorable pictures from BBB! Both girls looked like they had a fabulous time and they looked beautiful!
When I have kids someday I'm hoping to have at least one girly girl who would enjoy this. I want to vicariously live through them
The little mermaid dress your youngest had on that day is adorable as well. She looks so cute!
The girls had such a magical morning at the BBB and I WAS pretty much living vicariously through them!

I would have LOVED doing something like that when I was little. I really hope that you get to experience it with a little girl too someday!
I love how the photopass people capture the reveal pictures...they are my favorite pictures of all ours at BBB. I love the pics they came out great!! Girls look so beautiful.
Aww, thank you! The reveal IS the best part! It was so neat to see the girls' faces light up when they saw themselves in the mirror... and yes, it's perfect that the PP people are there to capture that moment.
What a great BBB experience! Definitely a must do for every little princess.

Can't wait to read more of your updates.
Every little girl going to Disney NEEDS to do the BBB at least once!
Great update!
Holiday wishes are GREAT back by the Storybook circus sign!! You can even sit down on the ledges around there too! Susie had the idea and we joined her for a bit back there in Dec and it was amazing!!
Beautiful snow and ice pictures!! AND YAY FOR DISNEY!!! What are your dates??!
I have no judging on you swaying the pop star princess look out, I seriously do NOT like it, its not very princessey at all and it just doesnt fit lol. Those buns are seriously perfect! Ive got friends who work in the boutique, time to find out how to do them! Lol.
What perfect little princesses!! So cute, and so glad they seemed to both enjo the experience, even if it took a little warming up lol! Amazing pictures of the girls after the transformation, Jorie seriously has the princess face and poses down, she should be the ad for BBB lol! Adorable! LOVE the little ariel dress! SO CUTE!
Oh good to know! We'll have to check out Holiday wishes from back there... and we'll be able to on our next trip!! Yaaaaay!

We'll be in WDW Nov 6-13th, so we'll get to catch one of the first MVMCPs.
Totally agree- the Pop star Princess hairstyle is NOT very princessey! I seriously need to learn how to do those buns. I should check to see if there are any You Tube videos on it. Jorie's bun stayed in for two days, it was perfect!!
Jorie definitely was in full-on Princess mode,

and Isla loved it too after she got over her early morning grumpiness.
What wonderful memories! Not being able to do BBB is my one regret of taking out trip before DD is 3--she'll be just 3 weeks away! Oh well, it's fun to live vicariously through reports like yours!
Such great memories... I will cherish them forever! The BBB was just amazing! I've heard of people getting their daughters in even though they hadn't turned 3 yet. If you think your DD will sit through it, you could try. Otherwise... it's the perfect excuse to plan another vacation when she is a little bit older!
Great update! Your girls are so adorable! Looks like a great BBB experience!
Thank you! It was definitely one of the best parts of the trip!
I caught up!

Love the TR so far!!
Awesome! Thank you! I'm glad that you're enjoying my TR.
We have had a rough couple of weeks with the weather too, but nowhere near what y'all experienced!!
Comparing to the pics from
MNSSHP with Isla having an absolute blast while the other kids snooze away, the picture of both girls waiting for the appointment with Isla crying and Jorie smiling is pretty funny.

You can tell which one partied the night before and which one got her beauty sleep!!
I don't even understand really why they have the pop princess hairstyle available since I'm sure almost every girl goes with a traditional princess dress or outfit. Where does that hairstyle even fit in?? I'm glad you were able to convince Jorie to go with something different, even if it did rub the FGIT the wrong way. Like you said, who is shelling out the money for the experience?!
Both girls look absolutely stunning after their makeovers!! The pictures from the photoshoot after are absolutely precious. I especially love the close ups of their faces. Your kids are so beautiful! Bronwyn is so cute in her Ariel dress and that starfist bow!! Love that touch!
It's been a pretty crazy winter!
It's funny how those two girls are complete opposites! Jorie is ready for bed every night by 8pm and she'll fall asleep as soon as her head hits the pillow. Isla on the other hand, sometimes we find her still awake when we are heading to bed! She is definitely our night owl and then she like to sleep in. Jorie is up and ready to go at the crack of dawn!
I've seen girls with the Pop princess style, so it does appeal to some.... maybe I would be able to understand it in HS as a "Rock Star" theme... but definitely not in MK at the castle. It definitely does not look right with princess dresses IMO.
Thank you! The girls had such a great time at the BBB. It was such a magical experience for them. They definitely captured some of that magic in those photoshoot photos! I love that you can see all of the glitter in their hair in those close-up shots.
Bronwyn LOVES Ariel, so I HAD to get her an ariel dress. Of course, after I bought the dress... Disney went and changed up the style of her green dress. And I was so bummed that she doesn't wear a starfish in her hair anymore. Oh well

For Bronwyn's hairclip- I had painted a real starfish that I bought at the beach with glittery paint, and then I just attached it with hot glue to a french barrette.
The girls looked so beautiful after their makeovers! I was so glad when Alexa didn't pick the crazy pop princess look as well. It would be nice if they would get some new styles to pick from that do not involve rainbow spikes. LOL Isla makes me laugh how she can stay up so late, but she doesn't seem like a morning person. In the end, it looked like she enjoyed it though
Your pictures from the ice storm are so pretty. But, I'm with you on this weather! It's getting so annoying. My kids have missed 13 days due to the snow. Now they have to make up days at the end of the year.
Haha, I know! I'm not sure any of the princesses would sport Rainbow spikes in their hair! lol
Isla is most definitely not a morning person.

I have to drag her out of bed most mornings for preschool! Thankfully she got over her grumpiness pretty quickly at BBB. It was probably not the best planning to schedule MNSSHP and then the BBB early the next morning... but I was trying to fit it all in before our parents left.
13 Snow days?! Holy cow! I haven't been keeping track of ours but I know that they already lost their Spring break and they are now tacking days on at the end of the schoolyear. What a bummer! And yup, we got more snow last night so they are all home today.... AGAIN!!!
Enjoying all your updates...waiting to hear about your next Disney trip being planned!!
Trip details are coming right up!
Love the girls BBB makeovers! The FGIT are great. My DD was 3 the day we did hers and she was very well behaved and loved it.
Those FGIT really are fabulous! What a fun birthday treat for your DD! Bronwyn will be turning 3 on our next trip, so I was thinking we may have the BBB be a birthday surprise for her!

(... not really sure how "well behaved" she will be though lol)
