Bib Question!!!

Sitting here about to settle in before the marathon tomorrow and suddenly realized that we didn't "check/test" out our bib chips at the expo like last year. Did we have to for this years events? DBF insists there wasn't a place to. Please if you know- answer so that I can fall asleep!! Thank you!

Back in the black chip tied to your shoe days one really needed to check the chip to make sure the rental chip was assigned to them. With the advent of the Bib Chip it really does not need to occur. If you have made it through the epo and the bib is the number on the waiver and your name is on the bib, there is almost a 0 chance of having an identification issue

Oh okay I thought it was to actually check/jump start the chip- phew!! No identification issues thusfar. Thank goodness, one less thing to worry about thank you, Coach, for replying so fast!
