BEWARE - You can make Wishes Dessert reseverations without MVMCP reservations

Yesterday, I was thrilled to make last-minute reservations for the Wishes Dessert Party for December 14th. Today, it occured to me that reservations were still available because this evening was also MVMCP. I don't have MVMCP reservations, but Disney ADR agent allowed me to drop $100 on Wishes. I'm sure I will now have to cancel, but I am curious if this has happened to anyone else and what transpired. I'm not curious enough, however, to blow $100 and see what happens at the MK gate when I try to get in after 7:00 PM.

Yes, you wouldn't be allowed in. That stinks - others have said they also didn't get any notice when booking dining on party nights at or after 7. I thought they *always* told you, but apparently not. That stinks for you.

I put $100 on a credit card for this. Let's just say it would have been less than magical when they tried escorting me out of the park at 7:00.

I tried to make a dinner adr for crt on a mvmcp night at 7:00- not later and was told no on the phone because i didn't have tickets. Dana

They are supposed to inform you when you book that on MVMCP nights you are also required to have admission to MVMCP. You had a phone agent who dropped the ball, it seems.
