So, after much research my dh decides he wants to use his HI (priority) points for hotel for this trip. Anaheim-area hotels are costly for these points which seems silly because they're under $100/night if we pay. But, anyway, we found the Holiday Inn and Suites Anaheim Fullerton for a little less pointswise so we booked it. Sounded great: all-suite hotel, all rooms have little kitchenette, etc. I emailed the hotel (happened to be the manager who answered) to ask a few questions. In my email, I asked about the kitchenette as this was one of the main reasons we were willing to stay there. Well, even though it clearly says on the website that this is an all-suite hotel and that each suite has a kitchentte, apparently, this is not true. We were booked in a standard 2 queen room w/ no extra ammenities except a mini-fridge. The manager was not apologetic that their website offered completely false advertising and simply said he'd let "guest relations" know. Anyway, I wanted you all to know that, if you're booking this hotel, it's not as advertised. If you're expecting or wanting a suite, call the hotel and be very specific when you book. Thankfully, I have no cancellation penalty on my ressie so it will be cancelled after that fiasco but now the process of finding somewhere else starts all over again. I knew I shouldn't have let dh talk me out of HOJO!
