With the dining plan I know we have beverages included with our meals, my question is bottled water included when it comes to beverages? We hate the water in Orlando and will not even drink the fountain pop so we figured we would just get bottled water with our meals. Also do any of the resteraunts serve any bottled soda or is it all fountain pop? We are having a grocery stop so I am going to get a case of water so that we can use it for coffee so we will not have to deal with Orlando water, no offense to those who live in Orlando but the water is the worse.

Last June we took a car service and stopped at Publix. Picked up soda, snacks, and LOTS of water. Something about the Florida water. I find I can drink from the fountains in the parks (probably because of the heat), but cannot drink the water in the room too much because of the taste.
I don't know if bottled water would be included in the dining plan. I also have never seen anything but soda in cups.
This will bump you for more responses.

Bottles of water are included in the plan, and most of the drinks come in a can or a bottle, so don't worry about it and have a great trip!

I'm pretty sure I asked this same question a few months back but don't remember getting a definitive answer. I would think the answer is YES since some restaurants allow guests to get specialty drinks. Something I noticed while looking at the dining menus is many restaurants don't list bottled water on the menu leading me to wonder if they even have bottled water. I would think they would, but then again... I'm interested to see the responses to your question.

First let me say that we LOVED having the dining plan and that we've taken it again for our upcoming trip.

OK -- the different restaurants handle this differently. It's not the end of the world, and you can definitely manage it -- all you have to do is ask specifically, "would XYZ beverage" be included in the dining plan. We did find that "most" restaurants do let you get bottled water on the plan (and I agree 100% about the taste of tap water in Florida).

One experience we had -- and it wasn't the end of the world but I want you to be better prepared than we were -- was at CRT. We informed server that we were on dining plan -- "great, no problems." We ordered and said, "can we get Perrier water"? (it was on the menu). He said, "sure, no problem!" We then got a $13 bill at the end of the meal because Perrier was not included on the plan. This happened our first night, so the lesson we learned specifically was to say, "if we order XYZ to drink, is it included on the plan?" ANd sometimes we'd decide to pay for a beverage that we wanted even if it wasn't included -- but at least we knew up front what was happening.

Again, please don't take this as a "horror story" about DDP -- just be informed that you do need to be very specific if you don't want to be surprised at the end of the meal.

For us, the Dasani water was always included at CS - we never tried at TS because we normally ordered milk.

For the Perrier, at POP, they would allow it as part of the CS, but not as a snack. Sometimes the CM would say it wasn't covered as CS either, but when we asked nicely if they would scan it, it always went through.
