Better week to go in March or April?

We are trying to plan a trip to WDW with our 2 yr old son in either March or April. I know we should try to avoid school vacation week, but is there another time in March or April to go that is better than another? Thanks!

THe first week of March would probably be the best! It will beat most of the spring breaks. We went that week this year and didn't wait more than 20 minutes for anything. We had our 2 boys with us, ages 5& 2. We liked it so much that we booked another trip for Feb. 28th-Mar. 7th, 2009. The weather was also wonderful. We got to swim while we were there.

We are thinking either March 21-28, March 28-Apr 4, or Apr 25- May 2. Opinions?

Avoid Spring Break and Easter. We went one year in late April and it was wonderful. All Spring Breaks were over as was Easter. The weather was perfect. I recommend the last week of April. (25th to May 2nd)

I've never been in March but the first week should be fine and before Spring Breaks have started.

All those weeks are going to be pretty busy. The good thing is that you are planning for it now and will expect it to be busy. The more you plan for ahead of time, the less it bothers you when you get there ;)

We are doing the last week in April since that's when the fewest breaks were. We are hoping it is getting slower at that time. We'll see

We are going 3/26 to 4/2. Some schools have Spring Break during that time, but it looked like the majority started about a week after that, starting with Passover on 4/9 and Easter on 4/12. Our school's break is 4/9 through 4/17, with the kids returning to school on 4/20.

I'll just hope for the best. We've been there all different times (October, December, June) and we seemed to be o.k. with good planning.

I was thinking of going March 14th-21st, this is the week my daughter is out of school from College and with the deal they have going its going to cost me $3 grand for 8 people for 7 nights /8 days.
As much as this is a great deal I am concerned that it won't be so great if the crowds are out of this world.
On the other hand the last time we went we went in June and it was pretty crowded then and we really didn't mind it at all. Could have done without the rain but other then that it was ok.
Would you go at this time or wait until the summer??:confused3

To OP -

Since your son is not yet in school I'd say avoid the school times all together push your dates forward a couple of days go mid-week the last week of April starting right after Mass. kids go back to school - the last of the spring breaks. Mass. kids are back in school on the 27th. The last week of April you will be just past the peak season for hotel rates.

The last week of April is supposed to have good weather and about 85-90% of the schools are in session then - just a few of the colleges and private schools have let out.

On another note, we live in Mass. too and when we consulted a TA she said that 1st week of May was the best time to go as far as airfare prices, etc. We're taking the kids out of school to go then.
