I got some more detailed info about my aunt who just had a double masectomy.
She is doing GREAT. She is already up and walking around. She will be coming home from the hospital this weekend and the doctors think she's doing great. They've removed the IVs and she doesn't even need pain meds. (She's braver than I think I would be if it were me)
She does have to wait to get some results back to find out what if anything else has to be done , like if she will need chemo.
She's looking up and can't wait to be home and back to her regular routine.
She & my uncle usually spend their winters in the Orlando area. They were leaving the first week of November , but will be putting it off for several weeks until the doctor says it's okay. It would be just magical if we go to spend some time with them in Disney when we are there in Dec. (they are both big Disney fans)
