Better to be closer to Disney during Easter

We are renting offsite for Easter this year. We have gotten quotes from owners with one being in the Solana Resort and the other in Emerald Island. The houses are comparable but it would cost $500 more to stay in EI. Is it worth the extra money this time of year. We only plan on spending a couple days at Disney. ?? Thanks!

I think it is always better to stay closer, but I also think a $500 savings is a lot and I would go with the less expensive rental. As you can tell by my signature though, I don't mind staying in the Davenport area. I have also stayed at Solana and didn't think the drive was bad at all. Since you are only going to the parks a couple of days, I think you will be fine. Leave early and try to get to the parks at opening. Use the Sherbeth Road shortcut or the new toll road, the 429. I have not used the toll road, but I have heard it is a nice shortcut and worth the small toll.
