Trying to decide between 11/20 to 11/25 or 12/18 to 12/23?

I know both times will be "busy," but anyone prefer one verses the other?

I agree that both times are busy, but if you are looking for a little more “elbow room” as far as crowds go, I’d say go in November. The closer you get to Christmas the bigger the crowds get. If you decide to go close to Christmas make sure you show up to the Parks as early as you can. Rope drop your favorite ride/attraction and get ready for madness after that. If you are staying on resort, don’t forget to get your FP’s in order as soon as possible (60 days out I think). If you have other hotel accommodations you can still get FP’s 30 days out. Have a great trip!

I would go in December because the Candlelight Processional is a must see for us. If it’s not for you, then I would pick November.

If you mean in 2020, you should not expect that Nov time, which includes five days, Sat to Wed, of Thanksgiving week, to have smaller park crowds than that Dec time, Both will be crowded and that Thanksgiving week time may even be worse.

My personal choice would be Nov time if it were not mostly in Thanksgiving week. You get all the Christmas decorations and have a much lower risk of getting any cold weather. Nov is usably very pleasant weather while that time in Dec, though often nice, can sometimes have a cold front drop down from the northwest direction and send daily high temperatures to low 50s with even possibly 30's at night.
