Hi! I booked a few months ago on Delta thru Disney. Now the same flight has gone down about $70 per person. Disney has told me that they can't get me the better price. Should I just go with this or check further?

If you booked via a TA (Disney in this case) they have to do the reticketing. Keep in mind that normally on DL you get hit with the $50 change fee.

Also, the price you may be seeing may not be available to Disney. Sometimes the best deals are webfares that you have to buy over the interent. (in other words the airline is giving you a deal to avoid paying either a TA or thier own agents to deal with you in person)

So would you pursue this with Disney or just give it up? Thanks for any advice, I don't fly much. This will be my 2nd time in 15 years so I'm very nervous about messing up!

If they aren't able to get you that price, then there isn't much to do. (That's one reason I avoid TAs.) Beyond that: For a $70 price reduction (minus $50 = $20) I'd probably let it slide. Maybe the prices will come down more later, and to take advantage of that you'd end up paying another change fee.

I would call back just one more time and reconfirm what you were told. I am sure the CM was correct, but you never know. For the amount of money you would save it probably isnt worth the change of ressies after the change fee.
