I love the Firm and am trying to get back into it, I have been slacking lately... but it does work!! Inches away in about 2 months!! I am trying to work on my measurements now vs the weight but you know it is a battle sometimes and you have to comit to it for life.

I have no room requests for August yet. I just hate change and can only see myself where I have always been!! BORING I know!!!

I truely did enjoy the location of Fiji but I am sure others will tell you there are even better ones to be had...I did enjoy the monorail view and the tiny cove view....and the GF view....it was nice.

I certainly want a new room after staying in one last time. That will be my #1 request probably...

Samoa was a great location. We were on the third floor, had a great view of the volcano pool, could see the lagoon and the Grand Ceremonial House. And, for you, running back and forth to Captain Cooks would be a breeze! I can't remember the room number, but I'll visit Tikiman's site and try to figure it out. Unfortunately, I don't know how to add pictures, or I'd show you the views! In any event, it was a fabulous location--great views, great people watching!

We loved the feel of the Poly...instant relaxation. The monorails and the boat transportation was awesome. Yes, I agree with your description of the bus service. Getting to MGM was such a feat (and there is no rhyme or reason to the queues...people just rush the bus. Luckily, getting to Epcot and the MK was such a breeze that the bus memory is almost wiped away!

The only real complaint I had with the Poly was with the housekeeping service. They were so understaffed, and a few times we'd return to the room at 2 or 3 o'clock and the room hadn't been cleaned. My son needed a nap so I'd just hunt down the mousekeepers and trade for clean towels. I really felt badly for the cleaners. They were working hard--the hotel was filled to capacity--they just needed more of them!


Other than that, it was such a wonderful experience that I really wish I could go back in August for the free dining. Last August we stayed in POR which was nice, but the buses really got to be a pain by the end of the week. (My son was in a stroller.) The Poly was just magical...I don't know if I could turn back!!! Ohanas and Kona Cafe two steps away...hard to beat. ( OK, I will concede that the food court at POR is MUCH better than Captain Cooks...no contest there!)

If you decide to take a walk on the wild side and try a new room location at the Poly, I give Samoa two thumbs up! I think the rooms have been redone! Your girls would love people watching--lots to watch at the VP and on the paths to and from the GCH. The balcony was great for that!

Wow...


I tried to write another part last night but just couldn't do it...I felt a lack of energy and that certain spunk I usually feel when writing my TR...

I think it is because today I am celebrating my last year in my 20's. Next year I will be a number that ends in 0. It is not that I think I am getting older, it is that I am getting wiser and today I have been thinking about my past, my regrets, my mistakes, my misfortunes, my heavy loads...instead of focusing on my joy, love, and happiness.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading your TR. I cannot wait to get there in the next couple of years. Happy belated Birthday. I just turned the big 2-5 earlier this month and I could have taken it a bit better My 4 year old son insisted on telling me that I must be really REALLY old cause of all the candles on my cake..... Don't ya just LOVE the things that come out of babies mouths?
But, again, I can't wait to keep reading this! (I'm only on page 12)

you know I still struggle with it to this day...the last 10 is just not coming off in the right spots...it is a daily chore to exercise and eat right and drink water...etc...but 54 pounds is GREAT and you should be super proud of yourself!!! Really!!! When u are ready I want to see some before and afters of you too!!!

ACK!!! Every time I try to go to Tikiman's webpage, it crashes all my programs and everything shuts down and I have to restart the computer...is this happening to anyone else?!
