Better food: Tusker House or Crystal Palace?

Hello! We would enjoy the characters equally and based on just reading the menus we would enjoy both as well... So which one has better food quality? Thank you!!!

Breakfast, lunch or dinner?

For our party of 5, 3 adults, DS11, DD9 the preferences are:

• Breakfast I'd say CP.
• Lunch & dinner I'd say TH.

We love the variety of breakfast foods at CP, and the opportunity to sample dishes that are not typical fare at TH. The TH breakfast doesn't have as many interesting dishes as the lunch/dinner there.

As an aside, we do CP breakfast and TH lunch EVERY TRIP.

I will have to agree with the poster above me, CP for Breakfast and TH for Lunch and dinner. To be honest though, your going to a character buffet for the characters. The food at either place is normal buffet quality food. I suggest you go to the place that has the characters that you want to see.

Funny, you picked our two favorites for food. I normally don't care for buffets but we always hit these two. And we're two adults sans kids. Always have a great time and are never dissappointed with food selection. For our two cents, we don't think you can go wrong. If you do CP, ask for server Karen Wiley. One of the best wait staff on property!

I love Crystal Palace. I love the characters and the food (I've only had breakfast), but the place itself is so beautiful. TH was fun, and we did breakfast there as well, but I prefer the atmosphere of The Crystal Palace.

I have to agree with poster above foodwise, I prefer CP for breakfast & TH for lunch/dinner. In terms of character interaction, you will not be disappointed by either. My DD (6) loves both meals and had had great experiences at both.

We haven't done CP but loved TH. The characters were great and I really like more unique dining options there. The kids could try something other than chicken nuggets and pizza.

Our must-do character meals. CP for a PPO breakfast and TH for lunch or dinner.

My husband loves CP. It has always been one of his favorite meals. I pretty much think the food is similar between the two. I think your 11 year old would probably prefer safari Mickey to Pooh at CP.

Absolutely Tusker. The food is interesting and good. I go for the food.

I have to agree with most everyone CP is my FAVORITE breakfast place in MK. Food is great. We got a reservation before park opening and it was nice taking some pics in front of the castle without all the people. That was my second favorite perk of early reservations.

They are both very mediocre buffets but with great decor and good character interactions. You can't go wrong with either! TH will feel less 'young' for a kid.

you can't go wrong with either. I would put them equal foodwise for breakfast, they are just so different. But for lunch/dinner foodwise I think TH wins out. I'd do both though, CP for breakfast and TH for lunch/dinner. they are both on my list (for breakfast, we are doing DxDDP so a character breakfast a day).

We always go for CP breakfast and TH lunch or dinner. One year we did try lunch at CP and we didn't care for the food, so we stick with breakfast. If you are only going to do one character meal, but like the food at TH you could always do Boma as an option. I think the food is similar to Tusker, but overall much better. Since it's not a character meal it's a less expensive option too. Have fun!
