here is a better Expedition Everest Video that I found, that I prefer over the other two. It only goes dark in one part, and you can see the yeti swooping down. I hope not since this is a perk we AP and DVC people are looking forward to. It would be a bit diminshed if they decided to make it a free for all. I imagine it will be soft opening soon and opening for good in April. I'm glad WDW appreciates the DVC and AP folks with perks like this.

We got to ride this last weekend. All I can say is it is awesome!! Can't wait until our next trip to the World so we can ride it again. My 5 year old ds rode twice and loved it!

Thanks for the link to the video. DS9 is "on the edge" w/this ride ... and the video showed him what he could expect when we visit this summer!!!! We appreciate the footage link b/c it helped DS know that the ride isn't overwhelming ... and knows he can do it!

Here I thought we were special (ap and dvc members) to get to be the first to ride. I hope it is not a free for all because that is why were made plans to go that weekend, to not have to wait in 95min+ lines.

The only people to have ridden EE so far are the contractors who worked on the ride, VIPs, Imagineers, and Cast members (and there guests.)

AP Holders and DVC members then will be the next group to get to ride it before they open it for all for soft openings.

During the AP/DVC weekends, these people will be the only ones allowed to ride the ride. I have been to past preview weekends (Stitch and Soarin') and they're pretty strict. Because of the anticipation and hype for this ride, do not expect walk-ons during preview weekens.
