Better deal for 8 nights..4/3 deal or 40% off deal??

HI,
We are looking at booking for 8 nights in later January,( Jan 23 to Jan 31),
Just trying to figure out if the 4/3 deal would be better and just ad another night, or I got a 40% off room only deal in the mail the other day and wondered if that would be a better deal,would like to stay at a Moderate resort.
Could a person book the 4/3 deal and ad on another night with the 40% discount???

If you did the 7 for 4 deal and only stayed 7 nights you would save 43% (3 divided by 7 equals 43%). This is better than the 40% deal.

If you do 8 nights you would save 37.5% (3 divided by 8 equals 37.5%). So it's pretty close, but the 40% off deal is better.

Your best deal is the one you mentioned, do the 7 for 4 and than add on the additional night at 40% off. However, I don't know enough about the 40% off deal...is it a package deal, meaning you will have to add tickets? If you have to add tickets and don't want to but want to stay 8 nights, the 40% off would be the best deal.

The only problem with your math is you forgot to figure in the $200 gift card. That would actually make the 7/4 deal a higher percentage discount.

Right I forgot about that. I did the 7 by 4 deal, but my timeframe was not when that was offered so I was not even considering that.

You just need to run the numbers both ways to see...the extra night isn't an issue, you just have to see which deal works best when working with the actual room rates, tickets, etc...

and you forgot the 3 days worth of tickets...

the 4/3 deal includes 3 days of tickets. The room only code requires you to pay tix a la carte

I think it only includes the incremental cost for going from a 4 day ticket to a 7 day ticket, but you are right that needs to be factored in as well.
