lol... ok so it's kinda day 1 and day -1... seen as though getting there took a whole day...
we were picked up by the coach at 4.45am on thursday really close to our houses... the coach driver and every on the coach were really nice... lol... and we got down to some serious snoozing...
we FINALLY got to the Santa Fe at about 10.30pm French time... blurgh... dumped our luggage and caught the shuttle into Disney Village... we couldn't bear the thought of the disney stores being open and us being in bed!
On the way back though.. it was dark and cold and we were tired... and we got lost...
Next morning.. we woke up at about 10ish... (bit late for our 7am breakfast) and hot-footed it over to Disneyland Park... taking a few quick piccies on the way of the castle (which looks better without the arches... but the park as a whole looked more xmassy with them...)
We headed straight up to IASW as we missed this last time... and got straight on! whoo hoo!
My absolute faverourite in there was the french can-can dancers! lol..
We kinda stood around for a bit, trying to decide what to go on next... we sauntered over to Big Thunder Mountain (with a 15min queue!) and nipped on there... made us remember how much we LOVED that ride! lol... grabbed a cup of tea... and managed to get on Phantom Manor, POTC, Indiana Jones nipped into Aladdin and bumped into these guys..
and all that before 1pm! we then decided to head over to Casey's Corner to grab something quick to eat... guess who we bumped into on the way? lol.. only these guys..
and also Jafar (beth took pictures on her camera too...) who chased me and tried to stick his finger in my ear.... hmmm...
after a quick chicken nugget and chips fix (and a fight with a german lady over a table....) we headed over to check out the queue for Space Mountain... catching sight of the signs for the new buzz lightyear ride on the way!
Space mountain was only waiting 30-40 mins but we decided to fast pass it and head have a mooch round the shops while we were waiting (making good use of the shopping service.. getting everything sent back to our hotel!).
We did enjoy mission 2... (but still like thundermountain better... no matter what i do on SM my head gets thrown about!)... came out of there... walking past HISTA we saw there was no queue and the CM shouted at us to "HURRY UP! COME IN COME IN!" lol.. so we did... and the show was in English so we could sit near the front and not have to wear those silly headphones...
Next we got onto star tours with only a 10 minute wait... and after that it was time to go grab our places for the Xmas parade... we went and sat on the kerb kinda just up main street a bit from Casey's Corner... infront of a bin thinking that no-one could stand behind us and kick us then!
The parade was great bu my camera batter ran out just as cinderella's float went past... so after the parade i bought myself a disposable camera for the rest of the night...
after that we mainly just mooched around the shops... bought a few things, drooled over the glass stuff in the shop in the castle... and sang along loudly to the parades... which got us wierd looks from small french children when we were singing something that didn't make any sense to them!
Before Fantillusion one of the CMs was paying a little extra attention to beth
and on our way out he grabbed her and asked her to meet him for a drink in the Sports Bar later...
We ran back for the bus and got on the first one.. back to the room, quick shower and out for a few drinks... as soon as we walked into the SPorta bar a big group of lads called us over.. there were from Essex and on an all-expenses-paid-xmas-do... hwo unfair is that?!?! anyways.. they got us to join them (free drinks!) lol.. and we ended up in Billy Bobs, then a little bit of shopping, then over to Hurricanes (i do have piccies on my disposable camera!).., before falling into bed about 4am... lol!
