BestBuy CashStar bonus question...

Hi Budget Boarders,

Earlier this month (Nov 5th to be exact) I took advantage of the buy $150 BB GC, receive a $15 bonus certificate through cashstar. When is that certificate supposed to be sent out? I haven't received it yet, and I can't find any documentation in my confirmation e-mail as to when I'm supposed to get it. Help!

On another note, can I use the certificate to buy a regular BestBuy gift card (that doesn't expire)? I know their Disney GC purchase option has changed, but curious about other options.

You could before but since this gets processed as a gift card and they changed the GC > GC policy I'm not sure it'll work now. Can't hurt to try though if you were buying other things. If you try straight out buying a BB GC with it a cashier might be unwilling to try because they know the policy and that's obvious. With another item on it they may not think about it and then at least you'd see if the system lets it through.
