Hi All,

Looking for information about the location of SV rooms at BLT. I have looked at the thread which color codes the rooms/views but can't recall what these rooms are actually looking out at. We have stayed at BLT two times and love it! This is our first SV trip:)

We prefer lower floors, and might even like a ground or 2nd floor room- would love to hear from Disers on their experiences, the good and the not so good.

Thanks:)

Are the inner courtyard rooms loud if on the first or second floor? Do the outer rooms on lower floors look at the monorail/contemporary? Seems like that might be a nice quiet area? What requests do you recommend? ( And yes, I understand they are just requests;)

I would love to know too....

I believe I saw a thread that detailed the rooms and their views. I would search BLT room views and you should find it.

:)

We stayed in a SV inner courtyard, 2nd floor, and yes, it was loud. The pool music and noise started quite early. If we ever stay SV again we will request an outer room and/or higher floor. Love BLT, though!

We had a 1st floor standard view that looked towards the marina. It was a fantastic location. Very quiet and an easy walk over to the main building.

We had a second floor inner courtyard room and I didn't think it was loud at all. In fact if it wasn't so hot and humid I would have left the sliding door open to hear the fountain that was right below us! I thought it was a fantastic standard view and worth the points!

I stayed on the other side. A partial view of the lake and a view of space mountain and the castle if I leaned a little. I believe I was on the 4th floor.

I think it was 7408. Standard studio.

We had a 1st floor studio. I cant remember the # but it shared the wall with the bed on it with the housekeeping laundry.
It was horrible.
Laundry carts banging into the wall all hours of the day and night. And lined up in the hall blocking the way.

We have stayed SV twice and the first time, it was a 3rd floor studio facing the pool--only there 2 nights and in December so it wasn't loud at all as we had the doors closed the whole time.

Last August, we were in a 2 bedroom, 2nd floor facing the courtyard in the back and again, did not think it was loud at all as we also had the doors shut. But, in fairness, we didn't spend a lot of time out on the balcony and were in the room late and early mornings--not a lot of time spent during the day.

SV rooms are mostly 1st and 2nd floor, with some 3rd, 4th, and as high as 5th.

In 2013, there will be even more on the outside of the building as 10 rooms--most of us believe 10 2 bedroom equivalents--were reclassified from Theme Park view to SV--and these will be 3rd and 4th floor rooms.

My SV studio last August was on the second floor facing the magic kingdom. Although I don't remember the room number, it was right above the main entrance and then one over to the right---if looking at the building from the parking lot. My kids LOVED it!!!
:goodvibes

stayed in the 5th floor with an angle view of MK three times.

stayed in the 2nd floor with a view of the pool - not really = had an excellent view of the guest across from me their livingroom....

stayed in the 4th floor with a view of CR - this also have a semi-view of the EWP.

all the standard views are 5th floor and below - so being afraid of heights is not a problem - when you stay SV.

my favorite MK on the 5th floor!!!

the 5th floor is where the bridge is located - so it is a good location.

which courtyard - the one in the back - you are directly across from the other side (which I did not like)

the other courtyard - on the side with CR - is nice.
