Best/worst case scenario for travel time from airport to POP?

Our flight gets in at 12:20pm. How long can I reasonably expect it taking to get the luggage, rental car and get to POP and check in? I want to have an idea of what time we can concieve leaving for the parks after all that. Anyone have any insight? It will be a Saturday in Sept that we'll be checking in. Thanks!

Depends on where you are renting from and how bad traffic is...

Best case: you arrive at Pop to check-in at 1:30. You're at the parks by 2:30.

Worst case: you arrive at Pop to check-in at 2:15. You're at the parks by 3:30.

I would say you can get to the resort by 2:00 pm.

Our only experience last Oct, was moreso along theline of option #2 - tack on about 1/2 hour.

Even though we got on a bus w/relative ease around 1:00 pm; it stoped @ both CBR & BW before the BC.

Wouldn't have been so bad if we didn't spend so much time @ each resort off-loading luggage.

Not sure if our experience was an exception to the rule or not. It was the Sunday before Columbus Day, so I'm sure the system was taxed to the max.

Wish they'd have some express buses (only carryons/strollers/WC) @ peak times; don't think it's fair to expect everyone else to wait to convenience those who want to haul their checked luggage themselves.

I understand it is (thus far) a free convenience (and great way to keep the guests onsite to spend more $ ); but thought the original intent was for the bulk of the luggage to follow later.
