Best women's shirts to wear??

What is the best kind of breathable shirt to wear on the really hot days?? I'm thinking about maybe something dri fit - something that's not too hot..Any hints or tips would be appreciated!!!!

Plain tank tops everyday is what I wear. No need to spend tons of $.

I wear dri-fit shirts when I run, and honestly, I think they are hot! They do wick the moisture away, but I don't find them breathable. I wouldn't wear one all day long. Just my opinion...others may love them.

Tanks or light weight t-shirts in pale colors!

I go with the regular ribbed tank tops. Can't beat them really. The moistire wicking stuff is just uncomfy for me.

I have a couple drifit golf shirts, and while it does wick the sweat off me, you can totally see it on the shirt, the shirts look soaked if im playing on a humid day.....which is really gross!

I just picked up a shirt at Marshalls that I'm going to try. It was in the athletic apparel section, Adidas brand. It's a v-neck t-shirt that was supposed to be moisture-wicking. It's made out of a very lightweight materials and seems like it would be very comfortable - I bought a couple of t-shirts through Travelsmith (the travel catalog) a few years back, but they seemed very heavy and I didn't end up wearing them. Just wore my regular cotton-blend t-shirts instead.

I'm also going to try some sleeveless shirts this year - they're cotton poplin blouses (button up) with a collar. I wore a couple last trip and liked them better than knit tank tops.
