Best Wii games for 8 year old

ds6 's favorite game is Wii Music- he plays it hours daily! If your little one likes to make music, he should like this.
He also plays Mario Kart, Wii Sports, and is wanting the Sports Resort (i just bought it 2 days ago with a credit from Smooth Moves and socked it away for Christmas)
I thought he might like the tapping game like Rythym one for ds, but I am not sure..

I agree with most above, mario kart, boom blox, but one of the first games we tried and bought was the monkey ball already mentioned. We still love that game. It has a one person game where you can try to beat all the levels and another bunch of games for up to 4 players I think. It is alot of fun!

My boys love the Lego Star Wars and Indiana Jones games. They also love Zelda, anything Mario and anything Sonic. I like to get inexpensive games when Wal Mart has 2/$30. Here is the link to those games.

Many of my kids favorites have already been mentioned ( DS 9 DD 7) : Mario Cart is a blast for the whole family, and you said that you already got the Wii Play which we all enjoy also. Lately my kids have taken over my Wii fit with their friends and like someone said, it is exercise. My DS also loves Monopoly and occasionally plays the Nerf Shooting game- depending on who is over. Oh, and I can't forget Disney's Think Fast. It is a great Trivia game that the whole family can play. My kids are hooked because we are all Disney addicts...lol. Have fun!

DS(8) loves Lego Star Wars! That's what he's been playing lately. But he also really likes the sports set that came with the game, and Mario Kart.
