Last time we went to disneyland we stayed at stolvall and it wasn't to bad... but we noticed that Park vue is alot closer. I was wondering if anyone has stayed at park and if they could tell me what they liked or didn't also maybe how much your room costed. I went on line and for stovalls its about 90 a night where as park said around 140 (for a suite), so price wise thats a BIG diffrence but we have 3 adults and 3 kids going. Does anyone know if they all let that many stay a suite... it would be me, my mom, my grandma and the 3 kids ds 5, ds 3.... and new baby (unknownen ;) )will be 1... so if they will let everyone in a room at park then it would be worth it cause i'm sure we would need 2 for stollvals....... Any info would be very helpful... There is a group of us going so we will have 2 more rooms for the other family, so i don't know if either give a cheaper rate for the more rooms you book.... but i'm doing all the planning since i'm the disney nut :goodvibes ..... again any help would be great!!! thanx! :flower3:

I would check out the Best Western Park Place Inn. It gets good reviews, has suites and is right across the street.

That would be great! Do you mind telling me how much they chraged per night? I want to go in october which is also low season! I hope you have a great trip!

We stayed at the Park Vue Inn (which isn't Best Western but right next door). It was clean and the bed was comfortable. We stayed in Sept and just had a room with 2 doubles so I am not sure about the suites. I think we paid ~$90-$100 per night over a weekend. Here's some pics from our room.

With all the Halloween festivities and with so many schools on fall break, October isn't considered low season anymore. Infact that whole month has drawn quite the big crowds. So depending on the hotel that may effect rates.

Oh well i didn't find it that busy and every site i'm on calls it low season still aslong as its not around columbis weekend.... either way the end of sept. or october is when were goin! We liked the halloween stuff and didn't find it that crowded compared to summer or other times of the year... plus it was good weather not to hot not to cold!

When we went last October we really enjoyed the halloween stuff too. Only not being able to walk it was so crowded, and lines over an hour was not what we call low season! :rotfl2: And we went AFTER Columbus Day weekend. We usually go in early June, when it's much less crowded. Can't say we'd do another October trip, for us it's just not as enjoyable when it's that crowded. Good luck to you! :)

Well we went the tuesday before colmbus and found it pretty slow the thurs.frid we walked on to most of the rides or like i said at most 15 minute wait.... i did notice it start to pick up on the weekend and the mon-tue but we left the tueday! Maybe we will go for sure the end of september-start october, if it gets alot more busy at the end of october.... we were trying to decied if the sept-oct. was better or last two weeks of oct. but by the sounds of how busy you say it is we'll try the sept-oct. option!

I have heard that the end of Sept. and early Oct. usually has less crowds. We went the 9-13th. Thinking it would be good, being after Columbus Day, and well before Halloween. But what we didn't realize was that so many schools went on a fall break during that time. Apparently it's a big deal to go to DL for fall break!

I didn't even know there is a fall break.... we only get spring and summer break here in canada! I think our kids are getting jipped of breaks!:guilty:

Don't feel bad, it's not something we get either! So I also had no idea! Would be nice to get a few weeks off in October, that's for sure! :)

A large portion of the S. CA school districts are on a "track" system. They have kids in school year round, all with different break schedules. It's a great way to maximize building / staff use.

Oh yea a few private schools here and ALOT of schools (from what i hear) in calgary do that kinda thing.... they are a few 2-3 week breaks instead of a whole 2 month summer break..... well i was looking at dates and it think it might work out better for us to the mid october... but i don't know... were not going till 09.... so i still have lots of time to kinda of figuare it out still :goodvibes
