BEST WESTERN on property

Hey
We just booked a spur of the moment vacation and are staying at Best Western. I cant find out a lot of information about this hotel so I was wondering if ya'll could tell me about it. It looks nice from the pictures (not disney owned nice). Has anyone made the walk from there to Downtown Disney? I guess any info that you have on it I would love to know!!

If you're talking about the Lake Buena Vista Resort Hotel we stayed there back in April before our days at Disney started. It's not that far to walk, might be a bit long for older bones. They do have a shuttle that runs to a from though I believe. We never took it. They also gave us a coupon book for DTD back in April. Not sure if they;re still doing so. We liked the room, cant compare it to Disney, but it was clean. The pool was clean. It had okay views. The beds were like the bed I have at home, much better than the values in Disney.

it's seem not to far to walk for young, if you are not a old man just do it, my friend.

This was one of the hotels that we were looking at when we booked our trip. We ended up booking at the Holiday Inn a cross the street, but mainly because I had family staying there at the same time.

The only thing I found out about Best Western that I didn't like was the $10/night if you wanted a mini fridge in your room. This is a big seller for us, as we like to keep snacks and drinks in the room. This charge was alot more than all other resorts close by.

However, I loved that the rooms had balconies, and that it was closer to Crossroads.

Having stayed in the area before, the walk to downtown disney is do-able as long as mobility isn't a problem. I know my mother found it difficult, however she has trouble with her knees. Otherwise, it's a nice walk.
