Hi I'm new to disboards and am going to DW Sep 28 to Oct 5 with my BF and my 21 year old son. We are planning to stay at the BW LBV and I was wandering if anyone has stayed there and how it was. I chose a hotel at Downtown Disney as we have family going and staying at Port Orleans and my son will have access to the transportation to meet up with some of the other young people. I can't afford to stay at a Disney Resort. Love to hear from anyone who has stayed there and your comments. We really would prefer a suite but the Caribe Royal whichis reasonable is offsite. Please help with your comments. TY:confused:

I stayed here in January on a priceline bid of $25 and was very happy. Two queen beds, coffemaker, free transportation to the parks and downtown Disney.

I have also stayed there this past Jan thru Priceline $20 per night. I will be staying again the end of this month thru Priceline at $25 per night. I had no complaints about this hotel. I love the location and the staff were very nice. I don't know what you have paid but you may be able to get it thru Priceline. Here is a link to read up on it... www.biddingfortravel , scroll down & you will see "Hotel Reviews" . There is also a section "Walt Disney World" to read up on what hotels are accepting Priceline bids & the bid price that was accepted.;)

When I looked at priceline last night, It did not tell you what
hotel you were bidding on, only a hotel general area and a
quality rating. Did you just get lucky and get LBV BW with your
bid?

Priceline will not let you know what room you are bidding on. I think you misunderstood the post. If you go to the link www.biddingfortravel (which is not Priceline), you will see what recent bidders on Priceline received & at what price. It is sort of a tips/guide board for those who use Priceline. It is in no way connected to Priceline. Sorry for the confusion.......

I stayed at the BW LBV in May and was mightily impressed by the big refurbishment they have just finished, completely changing the look of the place since I was last there a couple of years ago. The standard rooms are all fresh and spacious, and the top-level suites are quite massive and with some wonderful views. The revamped restaurant is very pleasant (and good value for breakfast, too) and the staff there were extremely attentive. I didn't try the bus service to the parks, but I talked to people who did and they seemed very happy with its reliability. The one negative I felt was the state of the elevators, which looked rather old and in urgent need of re-fitting. It is a 10-minute walk to DD (or to Crossroads, which is also worthwhile), and gets high marks from me for its value for money in this location.

Using priceline and following the recent bids, I too got BW at LBV for $27 for 5 nights in august and 2 nights in sept. $25.00. For this price you can get two rooms and still be cheaper. Just read the info carefully, and ask questions. This is my 8-10 times using priceline and 99% happy with the results. And really nice place for alot less $$
