Best Western lake Buena vista

I’m going back to Disney for the second in January and the first time we stayed at All star sports and loved it, but this time we are going with another family and we are going to stay at the Best Western lake Buena vista. I been reading some reviews about this hotel and seems people love it or they hate it and I was just wondering if anyone has stayed there and what are your thoughts about it. Thanks for your help!

I've stayed there. If you are only doing a couple of days, it guess its fine. If you are making it your vacation - then no way. I actually thought the hotel was grimy and dirty, but then again, we only paid $50 per night. We had a small child and all I kept thinking was "gross." The pool area was boring and small. I would stay at the All Stars over that hotel any day.

If you are wanting to stay at one of the Downtown Disney Resorts, I would go with the Doubletree. I have never stayed there personally, but it has decent reviews and looks very nice on the outside, plus it is closer to DTD.

I guess I should mention that I have stayed on site, at all different resorts, and also off site. The Best Western was my absolute least favorite and I would never return.

I stayed there 3,times
All times i stayed for 12,days.
It not the cleanest i been to, but its absolutely ok.
The staff there,don`t relay seems to respond to visitors.
One time,someone got their tiers cut up,on their car,that was parked outside, and the staff wold not help them in any way, and my last stay there,it was alot of "fuzz" on the bathroom fan.
We didn`t mind, but you can fill out a card with good and bad stuff, about the room, and in it there was someone that complained about the "fuzz",and that was dated 7,week earlier.LOL.
The pluss,is that you will get a private balcony,with chairs & table.
And the views are relay good,if youre on a high floor.
You also have a 5,min walk to many restaurants and a grocery store. You got a 20,min walk to DTD.
