Best website to use when renting a beach condo? Myrtle beach SC

I need to find a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo, mid rise and ocean front for a week in July. What website is easiest to search for things and book? I tried one and it just didn't filter hundreds of results.

Try VRBO. I have rented condos through this website from all over the country and I have been completely satisfied. I look for a condo with good reviews and one where I can rent directly from an owner and not a rental agency.

We use HOMEAWAY.com for a lot of our vacarions. Direct with the actual owner which we prefer over a management company.

We always stay in North Myrtle and have used http://www.northmyrtlebeach.com for all our rentals. They often offer discounts but probably closer to 2 months out. We like to go in August so we wait til the summer has begun and then find the places that offer 40% off "rest of summer". That has worked for us 3 years in a row.

Myrtle Beach is pretty huge so if you look at a map you may get an idea of the area you want to be near.

VBRO seems to be the most used. I've never rented a condo, but saw VBRO tossed around all through my planning a trip to Myrtle Beach.

If you want a good forum such as the Disboards for Myrtle Beach, go to funbeaches.com/forum. Though not as big as the Disboards, it is a wealth of info just as it is here for Disney. It is run by a couple who reside in Myrtle Beach and is full of other Myrtle residents and many many regulars of vacationing in Myrtle. You can get personal info on condos and hotels from folks who have rented as well there.

Watch out for Mary Lee. She's big Great White Shark
